Noticed this am in the Chronicle Herald that American Eagle is adding a daily non-stop to LaGuardia in Dec b/c of the new customs clearance. (They already serve NYC through JFK, but LaGuardia is domestic.)

So, I'm wondering what this opens up for us, if anything. Does AE have any good deals? Or could I connect to something else cheap via LaGuardia? (I know switching airlines means picking up your bags and starting over, but that's pretty much what we have to do via TO, and we pay through the nose for the privilege.)

Am hoping that the intro of a new route might have intro sales!

Hopping on board this thread to hear any news. We too are waiting on flights and anxious to get all the info available. :wave2:

I think both Jetblue and Delta fly to Orlando out of LaGuardia. Continental flies through Newark.

Man, I haven't been through LaGuardia in years... decades! Hope it's improved from what it was in the early 80s...

Yay for more options on flights to Disney!

I've found that American is usually the most expensive of the US carriers. We have flown Delta and Northwest but find that Continental has the best prices. Keep checking through Expedia and being flexible with the days is helpful. The more flights available the better chance of getting good prices, so I applaud the new flights. Now if we could only lure Southwest and Jet Blue here we could have some great possibilities!
