WDW is slowly replacing the 2 finger scans with an easier 1 finger machine. For the one finger scanner, you just place one finger on top of the machine.

Yea but it's still nice to have to put your finger where many others are with god only knows where it has been.

Hand me the hand wash please.

Oh I never thought of the dirty fingers ... germs ... and I am not normally a germaphob but now I am going to have to pull antibacterial wash out after I go thru!! Why did you make me start thinking about that tmt :teeth:

Needless to say, I was always one of those people who held up the line -- couldn't get that two finger thing right so I am happy if they replace it with something that is easier ... and where I will spend less time squishing my fingers in other peoples germs too!!

Gotta go wash now .... :rotfl:

I asked about that once. I was told that you can not be forced to put your finger there. You do have the right to refuse, but you must show a photo ID to match the name on your ticket.

That will be great because I am one to hold up the line behind me. It seems like I can never get it to work. On our last trip, I tried and tried the one time and the CM told me to just come through and show ID. Thank you very much. I was tired of trying.

i'll deffinatley be stopping at the restroom to wash my hands right after that :teeth: does that apply to every ticket or just annual passes?

We aqlways had problems with the two fingers always the CM'c stop us and we had to show our license. My husband's finger was broken when he was a kid. Hope the one finger is better.  party: party: party:

And as far as the germ thing goes, I've never understood the paranoia. Gimme some germs and a nice heapin' plate of dirt thankyouverymuch. Much more healthy way of thinking IMHO. :p

.

Even with the one finger scanner, I still had problems. You have to make sure to place your finger to that the tip of it touches the edge of the scanner. There was a family in front of me having problems with them also.

It doesn't matter it takes a DNA sample from a small bit of blood that drawn.

:lmao:

And I was also kidding about the germs as well. :stir:

I visited the MK and Epcot on Friday, BB on Saturday and MGM and AK today (eeek, a total Disney weekend, I didn't think of that until now.) So far, I've only seen the one finger scanner at a few turnstyles at the MK. I finally got to use it and the line seemed to move faster than with the two finger scanner. No one in front of me had a problem with it. Instead, at the AK today, every single person in front of me had problems with the two fingers. Most people don't insert their fingers all the way in, and when told to do so, no one squeezes them together to touch the two pegs.
