1. Have been away from the boards for awhile. Haven't been to WDW since Dec '11. Planning trip for Feb 9th - 16th. With the new attractions in Fantasyland, where do we start first? Do we start with Belle or Ariel or do we hit Peter Pan and Pooh first? Those always have really long wait times by mid morning. We will be there 30 min before rope drop and will go straight to FL. Just not sure which attraction to start with.

Any thoughts would be appreicated.

Thanks

1. My recommendation would be Belle first, then Pan, Pooh, Ariel in that order.

I am wondering if anyone has seen any Robo maps of the new Fantasyland to show the walkways. Robo, if you are out there and can help I would appreciate it.

Since the area is so dense and I don't have any really new images that are not littered with construction gear, I have not made any specific "pathway" maps for New Fantasyland.

Below are some of the images I've marked up with LOCATIONS shown.

As time passes and clearer overheads become available, I can make some more finalized overlay maps.
(Thanks for your interest!)

Thanks for the maps Robo. You are AWESOME!

Thanks Siskaren. I have not been to that site and appreciate you telling me about it.

These boards are so wonderful.

Thanks, Mike, for the great video. I can't wait to see Be our Guest Restaurant. We will definitely get there early. Thanks for the tip.

I'm so glad that you started this post Serenity. We have the same trip dates and I've been wondering about FL. Appreciate everyone's input.

And thanks for the maps Robo.

Totally agree with doing Belle first. It's the "Dumbo" of New Fantasyland. Slow loading, with a low hourly capacity. And a line that keeps you standing in the sun for extended periods of time. But worth doing. So..... rope drop or bust!

My only other comment is to watch the return times if you choose to meet Ariel. Her meet & greet has no FP either, so I wouldn't wait too long to get over there.

Great video! I also checked out some of your other videos. :)

Thank you!! :)

Also the last few hours of the late EMH are a great time to ride Under The Sea. I think we only waited a max of 15min. It can get up to like 70min during the day. Yikes!
Here is video I took of Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid: http://youtu.be/UPzZFd117LY

That's a good plan. I would do it just a bit differently: FP PP, then Belle, then Ariel M&G, then LM ride, then PP Pooh and ride PP.

The one thing that everyone seems to agree on is that if you want to do Belle, do it very first thing (except after maybe picking up a FP along the way). Belle has no FP and has a line that moves slowly and is outside.

Thanks for the information! I've been trying to figure out a new FL strategy and wasn't sure what the new rope drop run should be (I know there is no real run, and I'll actually be going from a pre-park opening CP ADR).

You guys are all awesome. Thanks so much for the tips. My only problem with doing a PP FP is my "boys" want FP for Space. So my DH is doing a Space FP run while the rest head to FL and he will meet up wth us there. So we will do - Belle, Pan, Pooh, Ariel, then Space with FP. Lots of walking but if it means getting Belle done without a long wait, then it will be worth it.

Thanks again.

What are the lengths of the new attractions? How many minutes should I spare for each?

We were there at rope drop this morning. The kids are 16, 17, and 20 so we opted to get FTP for space and then check out New Fantasyland. We skipped Belle, but it was a 2o minute wait. We walked on Ariel. What we did not anticipate was that the rest of the park was really empty for about 2 hours! We waited 15 minutes for pp and could have walked onto Pooh. With fp and getting there early we ended up also doing buzz, hm, btr, pirates, teacups, and lunch at bog. It is worth the wait just to go in there! They told us the line would be about an hour and a half, but it really was about 30 to 40 minutes. It was early.
