We did the Blue Bayou dinner in February and I was pleasantly surprised. We've been to BB a few times in the past and never been very happy with the food but this time the food was really quite nice. There are no reserved seats anymore but with the BB package you get a foam thing to sit on and you get to sit in a reserved area. When you finish your meal you get fast passes and on the pass it says what time the seating area opens. We got there a few minutes early and got spots at the very front of the seating area. The only real complaints that I had were a) after all the sitting you do before and during the show, my rear end was numb, even with the foam cushion! and b) we were seated right at the railing, which meant that we were viewing the show through the bars.
I have done Fantasmic Dessert show in 2013: reserved seating etc: just wondering what are your thoughts/experiences to the new "Dinner Package": Where are the reserved seating areas for each "Dinner Package": how do you get your seats; is it first come first serve? I would like to hear some reviews on this topic.
