SPECIAL OFFER ON A KID SIZE PACKAGE

You get Memory Maker for Free when you purchase this kid-size package.

"Stay at a select Disney's All-Star Resort hotel, including 3 nights in a standard room and a 2-day Magic Your Way base ticket, and pay only $899 for a family of 3 for stays most nights Aug. 15 – Sept. 30, 2014!"

Booking Window:
Feb. 6 – April 20, 2014

Travel Window:
Aug. 15 – Sept. 30, 2014

This also works at other resorts and it seems is saves a little (not as much as free dining...)

It's interesting that this promotion for this fall has come out this far in advance...

this sure is a diff. kind of promo. Disney's site says "save $50 on advanced purchase" with a price of $149. I dont know much about this memory maker, I think you get all of the pics that were taken by photopass cm's. (and pics on the rides) The down side for me is I never like alot of the pics taken, and I dont think I would want multiple copies of same pic. I think I'll pass on this and keep giving the cm my own camera to take pics when they are done with there camera :) ............ And this promo runs till april.....hope people dont have to wait that long to see if FD comes out.

that's nice and all but i was pretty excited by the thread title thinking it was a room discount or meal plan discount. hopefully something like that comes out this spring

I priced a package for this deal, just because it didn't seem like that could be all they were offering. There seems to be a discount along with the Memory Maker, so if you are going those dates, it is worth looking into. You never know.

We were planning on going later in the fall, so this doesn't really help us but I am hoping early fall deals now means later fall deals will come out soon this year as well.

I did a quick calculation and using Disney's example, that saves you about $126.

Yeah, this is one of their deals that isn't a deal. It is really an attempt to get people to use their photographers again.

My package price at the Contemporary went down over $600 plus I'm getting the Memory Maker for FREE. My sister's package went down almost $550 and she is also getting the Memory Maker for FREE too. You might not consider that a deal but I sure do!

I agree! It may not be the best deal Disney has released, but for me it's beneficial as I planned on getting the Memory Maker anyway and the additional amount off the room is nice. I'll still be keeping watch for free dining or a better room discount for my stay.

I don't necessarily know if I'd go ahead and book with this deal, but I'm looking at the dates and I'm wondering if these dates, 8/15-9/30, forecast the dates for future possible discounts, i.e. free dining or room only discounts...

I saw a new discount was available, so I'm checking in here to see what is going on. My dates are within the non promotion period, mid June to mid August, so this won't work for me.:worried: However, I think it's Disney's way of selling the Memory Maker option. I don't think I would buy the Memory Maker for two reasons. One, it's expensive. Two, we don't spend enough time in the parks to make it worth while. I hope another discount comes along for my dates.::yes::

Is there a code for this discount? We're considering using it for BLT (we tried to book BLT with the free dining bounce back last Sept.) but they said they didn't have that offer for BLT, so this is better than nothing.

Never mind, it looks like it's already in the system, although when I tried with the villa's at Bay Lake there was not any kind of room discount, only the free memory maker. You can pick the option to do the package with the free memory maker or just a regular package and with everything being the same the price was the same there was no discount (other than the memory maker) at all.

We are thinking of going mid to late August for 7 day/ 6 nights and a six day base ticket staying at POR. With the Memory Maker Package there is a bit of a savings on the room, tix and the price includes the Memory Maker. The savings would be about $189 for our family of 4.

How would a package like this work with MDE, magic bands, and a split stay?

We're staying at 2 different resorts, and after pricing out various options for our particular resorts/rooms, it would make by far the most sense to add 8-day tickets to our first stay, which is only for 4 nights, and then pay for room only for our second stay.

I assume it's no problem to keep using our park tickets, even after we leave the first hotel, but figured it's best to check. Would our unused park days automatically be loaded on the magic bands for our second hotel? Or does it even matter which magic bands we use?

We just booked a 9 night stay at POR in mid-August using this new MAGIC YOUR WAY PACKAGE WITH MEMORY MAKER promo. We planed on buying Memory Maker anyway, but getting it FREE is better. We calculated that is package saved our family of 5 $857 versus buying everything separately! Yahoo!

We are staying at the BLT and while this had zero effect on our overall price, we were able to get the free Memory Maker. We had planned on getting it anyway, so I'll take it! Since the spring promotion wasn't available for 2bed villas, I'm happy with getting something.

We just booked yesterday for a fall trip to the Yacht Club for 6 nights. Although we weren't that interested in the Memory Maker, it did offer us 25% off of our room portion and saved us around $800 over what I had previously calculated. We are usually more interested in the room discount offers than the free dining, so this worked out for us. Still hoping they may offer the traditional 30% discounts for that time frame for deluxe resorts, but if not 25% plus a free Memory Maker will do quite nicely!!! Thanks Disney! :cool1:

I booked under this package, but have since booked a new one. I was able to get GF for about the same price as an Art of Animation family suite. We won't be able to add free dining if it comes out for our dates, but a great room discount will work out better for us this year anyway.
