NEW! Exclusive Vacation Package (Harry Potter) at Universal Orlando

Sorry to hear it didn't work out! :sad1:

For us, staying 8 nights at the Royal Pacific Resort, 3 adults and one teen, with 3 Park Unlimited tickets, the entire Harry Potter themed package came to just about 2570 dollars. We were pretty happy with that, but we are staying twice as long as you, so it's a better deal.

Yes, and I think the rate for Royal Pacific was much better. They quoted me I believe it was 159.00 a night and we are staying at the HRH which is 214.00 a night. I'd switch but we are celebrating DD and her BFF's sweet 16 and they asked to stay at the HRH. I already told them yes, before the special came out and I don't want to go back on my word.

But glad to hear you all got a great deal! Hope you have a wonderful time. I see you are staying for 8 days, what else do you do to fill your time up? We are staying 3 nights (was going to stay 4 but was afraid we would not have enough to do without busting the budget). We will do the parks for 2 full days, plus one day at the pool/ park and then a day at Sea World. (No car so transportation is a small issue)

Well, we're arriving late and leaving early, so we'll really only have six days in the parks.

Theoretically, we could spend a day (or more) at the Wet and Wild, since it's included on our ticket, but the odds are very good that we won't bother. After all, there's a perfectly good pool at the resort and some awesome water rides in IOA.

Last time we came down I was all prepared to venture abroad to Sea World or the zoo or even spring for the Blue Man Group, but instead we ended up spending seven whole days just in IOA and US (plus a movie at City Walk). We weren't at all bored! In fact, I remember lying on my bed on the last day, with the park maps spread out in front of me, circling all the things we hadn't yet got around to seeing.

It's a lot of fun, exploring all the stuff people usually skip, like the various performers in the Wizarding World, or the animatronic dinosaur in Jurassic Park (I wonder if she's still there?). It's nice to not feel like you've got to see and do everything in a short time.

Six days will make for a very relaxing vacation, I think! :thumbsup2

This is really good to know. I actually have 2 reservations; one for 3 nights and one for 4 nights. We arrive around noon time and will depart at 5 pm so we'll have full days for our first and last day. My girls requested Sea World. They are interested in the new penguin attraction so I don't mind going. But with what you shared maybe I should keep the extra day.

Well, the Potter package sounds nice, but isn't really worth upgrading to for us.

If our DDs were a bit younger, I would jump at it, but at 16 and 17, they are a bit beyond HP mania. If it were 2006, it would be a different story!

And we aren't exactly "breakfast people" ... early entry isn't for us! :rolleyes1
