From FAQ on DFTW site... Got the notice on F/B:

I'm planning an Escape Wedding, am I eligible for the 20th Anniversary Escape offer?
This special 20% offer is valid on select Deluxe Escape Weddings during our 20th Anniversary. Offer applies to select outdoor ceremonies Monday – Thursday at 8:00 A.M. and 10:00 A.M.. Eligible locations include Sea Breeze Point at Disney's BoardWalk Resort, Wedding Gazebo at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Sunrise Terrace at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and Sunset Pointe at Disney's Polynesian Resort.

Very exciting if this is for you!! Savings of $950!!

I'm helping a friend plan her wedding and she is considering an Escape.

Anyone know for what year this applies?

Thanks!

I was beyond thrilled to hear about this offer, however, they aren't specific at all and don't even know what days or even years this is for. Hopefully 2011!!! Such exciting news!

If it's for the 20th anniversary of DFTWs then it probably runs during the dates of the memories package which is from Sept. 2010 though all of next year (the anniversary year).

The 20th anniversary runs until April 2012 so presume it ends then!
Gutted as our wedding is in September 2012 and would love to take advantage of this! Hope they extend it!

Lol... it briefly ran through my mind to switch to Escape. Then I spent my entire lunch hour trying to work it out. Although it's a great deal, once I put all my add-ons in place it came out over the Wishes limit anyway. Then I tried to cut the guest list and we can't even invite our whole families for under 18 people, let alone any friends or bridal party :( I'd rather spend a few extra dollars then have a family and friend feud :happytv:

This is a great offer:thumbsup2

Alas, things aren't any better in the employment area of our lives:sad2: so at the rate we're going we're going to miss all the deals:sad1:

Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings' 20th anniversary celebration lasts until March 31, 2012. :thumbsup2

Any luck they can back-date that and give me the discount on my wedding last week?! :rotfl:

It's a shame that they're not doing any deals for people having an Escape wedding in the pavilion! It's the only location at Disney which suits us and is already so much more expensive than the outdoor locations.

I e-mailed Pam Pearce yesterday and she got back to me today saying that this offer applies until december 1, 2011!

I have a couple of questions about this new offer. Does it take 20% off the final price or 20% off of the basic price. What I mean by this is 20% off of the whole package that includes the extras I want such as the Magic Kingdom photo session, flowers, cake, etc.
Does anyone know the for sure date of the package because there are a few different ones floating around and I really want to be sure on the date that this offer ends on.

I dont have the exact date, though I heard as long as memories was going on.

I did emails about the extras and got this:

This discount is only applicable towards the package itself and not towards any upgrades to the package, additional events (like a Dessert Party or 2hour Reception), or Bridal Portrait sessions.

Disney just responded to my facebook post and said the discount ends December 15, 2011. That's the THIRD different date I've seen! :(

Oh, that stinks, 1 consistant answer would be nice:headache:

They updated their website to reflect the date change too... looks like it's back to the wedding planning drawing board. :(

Updated to what, the 12/15/11? Probably won't work out for me, either, then:headache:

Yeah, 12/15/11. :( which stinks so much! I'm a grad student/freshman english instructor, so there's no WAY I could move my date up that high--- I'll have 40 papers to grade!
