Interesting ! I wonder if there will be notices on MDE, signboards inside Epcot, etc. to let guests know that the Skyliner is down, so they can go to the appropriate place.
It they use the same type signage as when they tested the "in park" to another park via the "in park" express shuttles it may not be of much help.Hopefully at least this backstage pickup spot will be better than diverting people to BWI and the ensuing confusion that often brought.
A real-time Skyliner status in the app would be very helpful.
IF the article is accurate then no. It says only guests outside of the park at international gateway have that transport option and that preferred transport is still the front of the park.Interesting ! The bus would presumably also be used to transport guests from the skyliner resorts TO Epcot. The bus stop would have to be outside the park, specifically before securityIF the article is accurate then no. I look forward to seeing some first hand reports of how it’s actually operating! A Skyliner resort would be more appealing to me with reliable transport from the Skyliner IG station when it’s down.
But how do guests inside Epcot know that the Skyliner is down?IF the article is accurate then no. It says only guests outside of the park at international gateway have that transport option and that preferred transport is still the front of the park.

CMs put sandwich board signs up directing guests to get buses at one of the Crescent Lake resorts, usually BWI but I’ve also seen Skyliner guests directed to BC. I have to imagine the article is incorrect and they’ll continue to do this. But how do guests inside Epcot know that the Skyliner is down?
HEAR, HEAR, Disney!A real-time Skyliner status in the app would be very helpful.
Where was this sandwich board? Inside Epcot or outside?Doesn't look like a huge help IMO.
It will save some steps in not having to walk to Beach Club Bus Depot, but until the notification and instruction process moves from Sandwich Boards and word of mouth to real time Skyliner info and instruction on MDE,Guests will still have to walk all the way to the IG to find out if Skyliner is running or not and will still be confused about what to do and where to go.
Sandwich Boards are so archaic in providing Skyliner info.

It was at the IG Skyliner Station.Where was this sandwich board? Inside Epcot or outside?
Thanks! Notifications in MDE would be best, but I guess that sandwich boards are better than nothing. It was at the IG Skyliner Station.
They also put one by the Bridge between UK and France.
The last one I saw there directed Guests to the Epcot Bus Depot only.
