New Englanders - Lake Compounce Discounts?

Hi everybody. What is Lake Compounce? We live in MA and are always trying to think of some vacation that isn't too far and that everyone would like. What is it please and what is around there? Is it expensive to stay? Would love to hear about it. Thank you.

Like everyone said- it is a theme park. http://www.lakecompounce.com/ Alot of fun for families. Not the best place for thrill seeking teens.

Nearby there is also http://www.farmingtonrivertubing.com/ if you wanted to make it more than a one day trip.

I'm not sure the ages of your group, but the tubing is for 10+, and kidcity is for younger kids who like "make believe".


ETA: I can't say enough good about Lake Compounce for families. I Love it!

Hi sorry this was last years postbut I think one of the other posters is right they are at dunkin donuts, i don't know about bob's and check their website maybe they have some on there. I think I got those at burger king last year.....

Just to let you know... Costco (Waterbury) still has discounted tickets. I think they are $27 for an adult. You can always call and ask them. Waterbury Costco to Compounce is less than a 20 minute drive.

AAA has a pretty good discount. There's a good senior discount as well that you can get on the Lake Compounce site.
