New Englander's I Need help

I am flying into Boston then Driving to Bangor Maine before picking DD(12) up at Camp in Seal Harbor, where are some place I should stop on the way?...my goal is to have some really good seafood and I am willing to stop more than once.

When we leave Seal Harbor I would like to again eat more seafood but maybe also visit a light house or two, we will be staying overnight in Portsmouth and can spend most of the day in that area if there are things to do before heading on to Boston for a couple of days then flying home.

SO please tell me where to go and what to do!

After you pick up your daughter- eat at Thurston's Lobster Pound in Bernard- it's on the same Island as Seal Harbor- It has THE BEST lobster I have ever had. They bring them directly from the traps to the table!

You're going: Boston-> Seal Harbor -> Portsmouth in one day?

I was going to suggest stopping at Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth on the way to Portsmouth, but if you're doing that much traveling in one day, it can be exhausting.

Are you planning on exploring Acadia while you're so close?
