Let me just note that I voted for Sat September 26th to coincide with the Disney's A Christmas Carol Train Tour in South Station. I thought it would be cool if that was part of the meet.

I love the South Station Idea!! I am sure we can finda place to grab a bite to eat either before or after... maybe we grab a bite to eat some place off of the Pike and then we can car pool into the city!! Any thoughts on that idea!!

I love the idea of South Station! I wouldn't have to drive at all! No Garmin getting me lost in sketchy areas!

as long as we don't exclude to many peeps. How about everybody else?? I know I have the option of taking the Worcester/Framingham commuter rail right into South Station. Saturday schedule runs fewer trains but its still an option.

I am all in for South Station as well. We could always take the train/T over to someplace like Fire and Ice (LOVE that place!!!)!

I like the poker reference! Funny you mentioned Fire and Ice. I checked thier website this a.m. after I read Tara's post about South Station. Well I might have checked the MBTA rail schedule first. But ... I did see they open at 4:00 pm on Saturday. So ... very good idea IMO.

I assume Garmin is GPS. So ... that is the reason you took the scenic route home from Doyles.

The red line goes from South Station to Harvard and the Cambridge Fire and Ice is only about a 5 min walk from there!!

Last time we met for brunch at a cool little resturant just outside of Boston... we can meet there again or try someplace different maybe more centralized in the state... We are open to ideas
