I'm new to the Community Board (and LOVIN' it!!) and I have noticed quite a few New England states in people's profiles. I don't know if we all just hang out more here on the CB, but I just thought it would be fun to have a place for any DISers from New England to check in, and try to see just how many of us there are!

So I'll start...I'm in the-middle-of-nowhere, New Hampshire!:coffee:

I'm in NH too. Concord, actually. Where in NH are you?

Just north of Peterborough!

45 minutes to Keene, 45 minutes to Concord, 45 minutes to Nashua, an hour+ to Manchester....(all places I have to go to do what I consider to be meaningful shopping!)

Yep, middle of nowhere.:upsidedow

Smack dab in the middle of central Maine....aka nowhere.......used to live in down east Maine.....basically on a lobster boat as a kid......now in a little suburb off from another small town..lol

My BIL lives in Pboro and that's where DD was born. We're in Ma, but close enough to say hey neighbor!

I lived for about 12 years in Jaffrey. I'm going to guess Antrim.

2 of my kids were born in Peterboro.

Great idea for a thread!! If you happened to have read the "what's it like to live in CT" thread, you'll find a lot of us passionate CT folks!

I live in Old Saybrook, CT which is a great little beach town.

I'm pretty sure most of the people who will show up here are Sox fans!

New England to me means ME, NH, VT, MA, RI & CT. I read a long thread on the Red Sox board once where some NJ & NY folks were trying to claim they were from New England. Nothing against NY & NJ (I graduated from Rutgers!).

I've got an uncle, aunt and cousin near Peterborough

As for me, I split my time between Monarchs country (a suburb of Manchvegas) and Wildcats country (need I say more?)

I bought my wedding gown from a shop in Jaffrey...just there the other night for a fitting. We're in MA. I work in Winchendon, almost right on the Rindge, NH border....but only until Friday, when I retire to be a SAHM with my little guy :yay:

Just look to the left in my sig and you will see where I am in NH.
I'm heading off to Freeport ME to do some shopping and relaxing this week.

About 3 miles from Plymouth Rock (MA).

Even though I live quite a ways from New England now (Mexico City), I still consider myself a New Englander. :cool1:
I grew up in several small towns in Mass. - Medfield, Millis, Franklin and Norton, but most of all in Millis. I always have and always will love New England.

Hey, The Hat! :wave2: I live in central Maine too! Who woulda thought there'd be 2 of us?
