new EMH crowds?

Just to add my 2 cents - we were at WDW from 1/3 through this morning (1/11) We had planned to go to the extra evening hours at MK (on Wednesday, I think it was) and it was so mobbed we didn't even go into the park, went to Epcot instead. But we did go to the extra hours at MGM Sunday nite and it was great - except TOT broke down ;-( We enjoyed walking around there at night, something we don't usually get to do. So mixed vote on the extra hours for us!

I agree with other posters that the crowds were much more than we expected for this time of year. Perhaps the holiday timing plus the marathon added to the numbers. Bad for us, since we're used to walking right on the rides (over and over again!) - but good for WDW business!!!

I guess if you just go with the idea of taking your time and just enjoying the sights, you will be fine. I sort of wish we had tried Magic Kingdom evening hours - but we were tired and had been to MK 2 times already that week - with plans to hit early morning on Friday - so my husband did not want to deal with crowds again.

Good point! And SIL and I are all about relaxing (well, the WDW version of relaxing) anyway! So maybe it'll still be fun!
