New E-Ticket for Tommorrowland Disneyland

I'm not a 'Disneyland' person (only been there a few times), but I don't remember an 'Omnimover' ride in Tomorrowland. The 'Buzz' at WDW was adapted from the existing ride - it wasn't 'new'.

Is it so easy to build an Omnimover ride mechanism that it could be planned, fabricated and built from scratch between now and when the 50th starts?

I don't think Al said it was necessarily an E-ticket...

But, Buzz does make the most sense. Honestly, another clone does nothing more than elicit an "it's better than nothing" from me. When you consider DL and MK have few substantial differences as it is, and DCA gave George Lucas the inspiration for Attack of the Clones, its pretty easy to see the resort needs some new stuff.

So the fact that Al says this one will be different from its "cousin" at least offers some hope for somewhat of a unique experience.

Also, the fact that there is at least recognition of a problem is a step in the right direction, although there needs to be quite a few more steps before a tangible improvement is realized.

The parts about the Studios' takeover of DL on Sat. 6/28 and the needed rehabs let us know things are far from being as they should be.

I actually wouldn't be the least surprised to see Alien encounter go in.

What really hit me was the cafeteria grousing.

As I said in another thread, When walt ran the studios there was exactly one commisary that EVERYONE including Walt ate at. The cast member areas were crummy compared to what was on stage. Let TDA grumble. I'd like it all to be followed up with the Destruction of the Executive diningroom next.

I hope if they build a Buzz ride they do it right and not like the lame version at wdw!!!! Now what they need to do is make it as interactive as MIB so it is a top notch attraction and not a lame ride where you are shooting at bright stationary objects!!

While I wouldn't call Buzz lame, I do agree it could have been much more, and should be if it is semi-cloned.

YoHo, I thought of AE as well, especially with the Stitch makeover possibly coming to WDW. Certainly there would be plenty they could do to make it different than MK's version.

I was actually thinking they'd just put the stitch makeover in at Disneyland and leave WDW alone.

I'm hoping they put Buzz on the peoplemover track.

That could be very very cool.
