New DVC Waterpark, DisneyQuest & PI Discounts!?!

Is this something new, or did I just miss it before? I Found this under Perks on New DVC Website and I don't remember seeing it before. Thanks in advance.

Preferred Seating for Flower Power concert series
A bevy of beautiful blooms, fantastic flowers, and delightful Disney Character topiaries will be on view during the 11th Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival, April 16 - June 6. At the American Gardens Theatre, groove to the "Flower Power" concert series featuring music from the '60s and '70s. Present your blue Member Card along with your Walt Disney World® Resort keycard to receive preferred seating (first-come, first-served; seating cannot be reserved in advance for current day or future performances; Theme Park admission not included but required).

The Flower Power Preferred Seating is new this year (I think), but the other discounts have been around for quite a while - at least a couple of years, if not longer.

You can get better PI and DQ discounts through Ticketmania. The prices on their web site will save you $5-8 off of the gate price, and I've seen even lower prices offered via the Mousesavers.com newsletter.

Yes, the Flower Power preferred seating is so new, that some of the CMs working Guest relations weren't sure about it being applicable for DVC. There were 2 CMs in the booth, and when "ours" asked the other one, she just pointed to a sign that apparently was posted in the booth, and we got our bracelets. We went to Gary Puckett and Orleans and neither time was the preferred seating area full.
