3. The CM who runs the MK churro cart (everyone stops by there eventually).

Be well!
PS: I heard next week that DVC is all ready to start construction on the Villas at Mars Outpost - they are just waiting for the rocket ships to be completed....

Thats why they built Mission Space. They track all those who have ridden. Those who get sick are crossed of the Mars DVC prospect list and are directed to SSR.
I believe that there's substance to the rumor of a new DVC resort replacing the north wing and the current tennis courts at the Contemporary Resort. If I understand correctly, Disney's refurshbishment schedule for the Contemporary Resort includes the main building and the south wing, but not the north wing. (Could someone confirm this?)
As far as an announcement is concerned, the typical announcement would be a small press release before the start of site preparation and construction (including demolition, in this case). Those of us on this board will know about the press release minutes after it's issued and there will be multiple threads discussing every detail of the announcement; the rest of the world won't care.
I believe that the DVC resorts at the Polynesian, the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the STOL landing strip are speculation and wishful thinking.
The Eagle Pines site was on the WDW master plan as a DVC timeshare resort before the DVC resort there was announced (and subsequently put on hold in favor of SSR). There no reason to believe that the site is not still on the master plan, but I don't think it will be next.
I have no inside information. I could be completely wrong about what I've written in this post.
