That could have been a "blue sky" model room. Where they can visualize potential options, and not indicative of greenlit plans. Would be awesome to see though.

I can see another tower replacing the remaining garden wing...but does CR demand need it at this point?

I can't see them putting in a waterway though, unless it was for more specific purposes than transportation, and transport is just an added benefit.

I also can't see them putting any sort of rail transport system in place.

So my sources are as such
The company i work for is doing all the communication and Digital wiring for the new bus stops going in at Magic Kingdom. We have has access into the main off campus site on sherberth road. While everyone was there going over the plans.I went to go to the Bathroom. To the left was a room marked " future creative designers,jobs and careers and locations .
I popped my head in and there in front of me was a tables layout of the entire park system. I was able to immediately orient myself since a small version of Epcot was sticking right up . It was then that I seen Avatar land, the train/monorail the new tower opposite of contemporary it looked like almost a duplicate of Bay Lake ,the New Grands, poly's Discovery island was completely changed . I wanted to take a picture but I feared i would of gotten caught. The following day the room was locked . My co worker sad he will be in that room next week and will snap a picture

Your setting yourself up for disaster in this thread. One how do we know what your telling is true, not saying you aren't but there's not proof. Two sneaking into a room that your not supposed to be in is very risky for you. Three heck it could have been a college program room where they come up with ideas in a class. Four how do we know you even work for a company that is working for disney. I'm not trying to be mean or say that everything you said in in true but most of the things that you said are 1 million to 1 chances of happening. A fifth park ill believe when I see it. Waterway just doesn't make sense. No purpose at this moment for another tower at CR they just don't need it right now. Poly DVC is almost 100% likely I think that will come over the next couple years where and what i don't know but it will happen. I'd love to see more monorail or whatever your saying but that ain't gonna happen either.

I'm just going to throw in that my dad worked for one of the companies that provided steel for FLE and he's quite high up in the company, but during the process he saw absolutely ZERO plans. The only people who saw anything were people directly involved in the project, and even they had to sign NDAs...just another thing that makes me doubtful.

but lets look at a couple of things . The new tower at Contemp sold out quick and is a huge hit. The garden wing is a waste....
I can see Disney wanting to keep people closer to the park as it causes an easier decision for parents to take children into MK and back again with little or no fuss. Bay-lake is continuously sold out.
Next Avatar, currently being built in or offshoot of Animal Kingdom. Disney is trying to get more people to that park as it is the lowest attended park and closes the earliest. it makes all the sense in the world to bring something else there. Funny it had the new Floridian Model and Poly Model So it couldn't of been that off..... or perhaps its a think tank and they pick off of that what will be done and not

Well, Avatar is a known thing, and it will be at Animal Kingdom, taking over Camp Minnie Mickey and the rest of the area that was supposed to be the Beastly Kingdomme land. The model might actually be how it will look, or at least once conceptual design.

Of course, many hope it doesn't happen...

A second tower I think is likely, the question is when. BLT is popular enough (I don't believe as a DVC property it is sold out yet, but it is hard to book at other DVC owners are booking it), but I don't know if it will be a second DVC (maybe, but I think other locations more likely first, so it may be 10 years down the road), or it will be just part of the regular resort (which gets back to demand at CR).

Another possibility of what you may have seen is a model of the "20 year plan". We know that that plan has one major park and one or two (I forget) minor parks that far out, but such plans are also representative of "maximum" or "best effort" buildouts and not a concrete plan.

Another thing...if that "park" you saw was at the very western end of Western Way, north of AK...it was probably actually Flamingo Crossings, which is not a park but a 3rd party shopping/recreation/resort area that Disney set up, but didn't get any tenants for, so it's been stalled for years...I believe that land is now technically outside of RCID.

Are you talking about the RCID 2020 "20 year plan"? Because I read it (skimmed it) the other day and from what I understood it says there is ROOM for one major park and two minor parks, but there are currently no plans to make this happen. Did I miss something?

If I were you I wouldn't be posting on the Internet that you went in to a room that you weren't supposed to and telling the world what you saw. Especially since you gave enough information in your posts for Disney to pretty easily figure out which company you work for. Disney does monitor these boards and has taken action based in things they see here.

That might be the one I was thinking of...but as I said, it isn't definitive plans but what they might achieve in the time frame.

Then again, it was for the possible maximums by 2020...where at 2013...and no signs of new park development yet. They'd probably be hard-pressed to actually make those maximums at this point.

Maybe not you personally, but your company could be at risk. Disney knows who they hired to do the communication and wiring for the new bus stops.

Well it is possible to operate beyond the standard IP. A tad difficult, but possible. That said, this thread seems a bit far fetched. If pics do come up, great, but until then, I'm in the skeptics' section.

I'm starting to get suspicious too. The only other thread by this user talks about the tour groups during the vacation to WDW the OP just took. Apparently he/she has been to the world many times. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a work trip and the family tagged along.

Either way, it would be very easy for Disney to figure out what company OP works for with the info provided and I'm willing to be anyone Disney contracts with signed an NDA. The OP doesn't seem to get that if what they claim is legit, the company could either lose the current contract or the ability to bid on future contracts.

I tend to believe the OP. It seems plausible that there could be a room somewhere with a model of Disney World and that model could have future buildings that don't currently exist and someone could go into that room and see that model and then come here to post about it.

It's not as unrealistic as saying that an alien flew down and told him all about it!
