Me too. Its okay, gives me another board to read, but I was wondering same thing.

If you are about to bust into a happy dance, or even if you feel one coming on, that announcement shounld be made on the DVC Community Board.
On the other hand, if you have a high tech question concerning banking with eight different use years, three of which are in your children's name, the DVC Discussion Board is the proper venue.

The DVC board is strictly to talk about anything and everything there is to know and learn about the Vacation Club. You are probably seeing alot about annual passes right now, because Disney has just offered the DVC members a great new deal on AP's, so the discussion has been at length.
The community board (CB) is talking about every little thing that you want that is going on in your every day life. Its alot of fun and you can get tons of different and helpful opinions on just about anything. So there you have it!

I personally liked having all the info on one board. I find myself sometimes forgetting about the community board until I have logged off and wonder where all the information i used to get on this board went. I guess over time I will get used to having to look at the community board on a regular basis and not miss anything.

I am fairly new to the board and cant help but notice so many threads always say MOVED

and about 90% of these are clearly relating to dvc. can any one shed some light as to why threads such as


bvc room recommendation, just back from vwl, dvc discount, what are the chances.., just back from bcv, disneyland on points, may at bvc, thanksgiving at OKW, a very long first trip home report

are listed as moved. Does it mean maybe the were moved fom another to the dvc baord? not a big deal, just curious and trying to figure boards out

With the new DVC community forum board threads relating to trip reports get moved there. I think questions about points gets moved to the DVC points forum.

yeah I ve looked at the other board and I have to be honest, I dont see much of a difference, maybe a different naming scheme then would work better.
