New Drop-Off Area

The new drop-off area in front of the terminal opened this past weekend, and we got to experience it two different ways (used Happy Limo to get to the port and took a shuttle to Budget to drive a rental car home). It is VERY convenient, and so nice not to have to cross the street. Our towncar driver pulled right up, and a porter was waiting to take the luggage. Then we walked through the gate and to the port.
On the return, there were rental shuttle queues set up. Hertz had a line, but Avis and Budget had none. The Budget shuttle was there waiting, so we hopped in and were on our way.
This new drop off area is a great improvement!

Thanks for the update. That is good to hear that there are places setup for car rental shuttles.

This is great news Barb. Did you happen to notice if they added benches at the shuttle pickup site? That was always a pain to have to stand and wait for the rental shuttle.
