Found this info on www.dlpinfo.com - the 20% off in shops sounds good!

"There have been some changes for annual passport holders. While the welcome present already discontinued a couple of months ago, now new or extended passport holders are no longer offered the 5 extra FastPass tickets either. Dream Pass holders will also no longer get the special discount tickets that came with the new pass. No more 20% discount for 1 meal, but the regular 10% for the year stays on. The Merchandise buyers and Disneyland collectors will be very happy with the next change. The 1 day 20% discount ticket for merchandise has also disappeared as it is no longer needed. From now on all Dream Pass holders will get 20% discount the whole year for all items bought in and around the park (with some exceptions like limited pins, classic collection, etc). This new rule is very new and not all Cast Members are aware of this yet so Dream Pass holders need to check if they got the 20% discount before paying and if not deducted from the total bill ask for it!
A voucher with a 20% discount on selected Village Restaurants is given at the Annual Passport bureau; however it looks like the voucher can be picked up at the front desk of the bureau by everybody."

Just wondering if any Dream pass holders who have been recently can confirm this.

Yes, I can confirm that you get 20% off all merchandise in the shops, as we certainly did when we went in April!

The carts that you find around the park are excluded however.

I wasn't aware of any 20% vouchers for Village restaurants, though we did get the 10% off in Annette's (I think the Rainforest Cafe is the only excluded restaurant from this 10% discount, and maybe Macdonalds)

Hope this helps :goodvibes

:confused3 We've always been able to get discount at the carts.

Sounds like the 20% vouchers may be a temporary promotion rather than anything permanent. Planet Hollywood and King Ludwig's are also excluded from the 10% discount although you often find if you eat in the Rainforest they will give you a 20% discount voucher to use in King Ludwig's and vice versa ~ and if you own a Brit's Guide there is a 20% discount at the back for PH. :)

When we purchased something from a cart the vendor told us carts were excluded, perhaps they were just trying it on, anyway, we never tried again after that

I hope it's not temporary, as it's a very nice perk! Shame the discount in Disney stores isn't extended to the UK however :sad1:

the offer on disney village meals was only for lunch really - we didn't use it as we preferred to stay in the park until it closed.

I think some of the carts don't have full tills to process the discount rather just a simple cash box.

Ahh, I'm talking about the carts where they have a proper electronic till, like the ones that sell pins.
