New Dooney & Bourke Haunted Mansion Merch

I just saw someone's blog (Dr. Disney?) with pictures of designs for new upcoming Haunted Mansion merchandise. Some of the patterns reminded me of last year's D&B Haunted Mansion bag.

Has anyone heard any rumors about new D&B Haunted Mansion merchandise?

I read on the Disney blog that there are no plans to release another DB HM bag. We can wish though! I want one, especially a smaller one.

If this is true I will definitely be buying one. My mom wanted the original bag so bad but by the time i even found out about it there were only the ridiculously priced ones that people were selling on ebay left.

They did update the inside color. My husband managed to snag me a new one a few weeks ago. Updated from red to purple. As for other items, I don't think so.

I don't carry large handbags so I really wish they would make a smaller, cross-body style. I would be ALL over that!!!!

Oh well, guess that saves me some $$.

They actually posted that there will be 3 new dooney and burke items this morning.

"That wallpaper pattern will also be used on three new Dooney & Bourke items. You may recall the first Dooney & Bourke handbag we released last fall as seen in this story. That original handbag will return with the three new items this fall. All the new items will have a purple colored liner not red like the first incarnation."

It was on the parks blog, i tried to post a link to it, but the site wont let me lol.

I like the shoes, the women's cast member shirt and the D&B bag, although I liked the original style bag better. I hope they come out with a HM crossbody. I'd be all over that.

I read that some HM merchandise will be available on the website. I know the original D&B HM bag was and I hesitated one hour too long. Literally. One hour.

When I called the Disney Order line the CM said she saw items coming into the system around Aug 9th (which would make sense) but could not say what items. I am just going to continue to stock the site.

At 11:30 PM on August 9th I checked one last time before going to sleep. Sadly no D&B HM available online yet

Well, they came and sold out on line. I checked every day but didn't see them till today. Every one is sold out

Maybe it's just me, but I really don't understand all the fuss over these items.

Yes, they have the right mortuary color scheme, but they don't really connect to the feel and "persona" of the attraction itself. Also, they are rather large and clunky to be labeled (as the manufacturer did) a "purse" and without the tag, I can guarantee 99.9% of those who saw one of these would not have any idea the item was related to a famous theme park attraction.

And that photo above is the previously released D&B Smith bag. I would want it even if I didn't recognize the HM themed pattern. I have a D&B leather Satchel bag in bright red. It's very similar in size to the Smith bag. I love it.

This time round there were four different style D&B HM bags. I was hoping to be able to purchase the smaller Messenger bag.

What can I say? I like my Dooney & Bourke and I like Disney
