Oh the rumors that will start that a company is registering a domain name...companies do it ALL the time, and buy a lot more then they ever need, want or plan to use. Why do they do it, A) they're extremely cheap and B) it secures flexibility in the future.

Disney Imagination Park = Shanghai park????

From what I've heard the Shanghai park will be a traditional, but very big Disneyland type park. I think that Disney's Imagination Park may be much closer than that. This very well could be the name of the rumored WDW 5th park.

There is a thread a few places down on this boardthat is all about the new stores. They are Imagination themed. I guess the current stores are Pixie themed and geared toward older kids. The Imagination Park theme stores will be geared toward kids 2-12.

This has nothing to do with a new theme park, or WDW's 5th gate. You can move away from those thoughts... HOWEVER, this has everything to do with the Disney Stores. New Disney Stores will be Imagination Park. They are also going to refurbish the older stores into either a Pixie Dust store or Imagination Park.

Sorry to disappoint all you that think this is a new theme park. It isn't.

It's too bad Imagination Park turned out to be about the Disney Store and not a new park. Imagination would make a great theme. There is a 5th park in development, though. We'll just have to keep guessing what it is.
