It's sunny here today in North Texas, high of 75... the girls have been in the pool and hot tub all afternoon..... We have been busy planting flowers this week and getting the yard ready for summer. DD Monica will graduate from kindergarten on the 26th of May, whille DD Ashley will graduate from 8th. grade on the 27th., where does the time go? You can just blink... and there teenagers... enjoy the time you have with your sweeties while you can... Graduations always seem to be a time of relection for me. Our vacations to WDW are so much included in my memories of the time that has gone by. I have started looking toward our next trip in February 2006, but its to early to book on-line. How far out can you book rooms by calling? I am going to go ahead and purchase tickets over this summer to get that taken care of

You are so right, MP. The time does fly with our precious children who grow up in a blink of an eye. DS is graduating from HS on June 6 - that is one reason we are making this trip in July (his request as a grad gift) and it coincidentally happens at the same time as our meet! Wonder how I managed that???

I, too, am starting to get very excited about our meet and the opportunity to meet some of you "live and in person"! I wish it could be all of us.

You make me feel SO SPECIAL! So, are we meeting in the Hammocks under the trees? How about a water~sprite RACE? Maybe TAG~TEAMS in the SWAN PADDLE BOATS?

MOM POPPINS~We will all meet in the future...for sure! This time of year ALWAYS evokes reflection on my part too. It is definitely "bittersweet" (DD will be a senior next year!). It's hot here too...in the high 80's, and we are ALL Swimming & Playing~!! This is take-out/BBQ weather. Even with the A/C, I never feel like cooking in the summer. (LOL...okay, it's not actually SUMMER yet, but don't tell DH & DD!)
Wow...Ashley is in H.S. now. It is a shocker...I know firsthand.

I love the fact you keep your SPIRIT in the DISNEY MAGIC by making plans (room ressies...and tickets) throughout the year. It's a wonderful way to make the splendor of the journies LAST, and also hold onto the "connection" we all feel with WDW & the Swan/Dolphin.

Mouseteacher~You are SO funny! Does your DS know about the "meet?" I too...wish we could ALL get together this summer. BUT, we'll all be together in SPIRIT. Of course...the SISTERS who won't be able to join us, could always send some "pictures" to Denise...and she could pass them around at our GAB~FEST! So, in a sense...you WOULD be there!

Thank you everyone for your great descriptions - I just can't wait to be there and experience everything first hand.

We've been dealing with an unfortunate situation in Little League with some very unpleasant parents on another team. It's been both frustrating and disappointing. I so admire all of you teachers because you deal with this tenfold every day! I was actually a Speech/Education major but never taught in a classroom.

Just reading of all the great things to look forward to on our upcoming trip have kept my spirits up and I really appreciate it!

DF....sorry about the loss of your furry friend. I know too well how that is.

MP...hope all is well with baby Kirk. We know what a trooper he is.

I am a bit late with all that has happened in the last month! Things are a bit hectic around here. I also have a graduate in May...from college. YEA! No more tuition bills! However, dd will be moving out this summer, closer to her job in St. Louis and ds will be moving in until he finds a job -- here we go again!

Have a great time on all your upcoming trips! I am getting ready for Maui!!! Can't wait.

DISBUG - I would like to suggest (if you have not already), that you visit the sites of the major credit bureaus.

I know on at least 2 of the 3 (maybe all 3), when you report the identity theft to them, they will report to all 3 for you. One of them also has a checklist of things you should do in this situation to make things easier.

The last Equifax Link has a LOT of info. In a situation like this I would also recommend monitoring your credit report on an ongoing basis for a long period of time. I think all three of these have a service you can subscribe to for monitoring.

2 of my co-workers today had to cancel their credit cards. One unknown - thinks it may have been stolen from a place he ordered from in the UK. The other clicked on a paypal or ebay fraudulent email and entered a password!! We just had an article on phishing in our last newsletter and she didn't read it!

DH just told me there is a conference our teacher center is thinking of funding this fall that is at the WDW Swan and Dolphin!!! I so hope he goes... If he goes, we all go!!!! Cross your fingers for an unexpected trip!

They bought a few hundred dollars worth of COACH products, and then tried to use it the next day on "SkateUSA" (or something like that), and the Fraud dept. contacted me! They cancelled the card, and reissued a new one. Simple and painless. I contacted all the companies to run a thorough check of our history...no other problems were detected.

OH NO! Not my beloved coach purses! They're being used for evil instead of good! I'm just hoping that skateusa is ROLLER hockey and not my beloved ICE! I am assuming you have a city for these transactions? Maybe their local police could also help?

Lou, if I was charging up a storm at Coach...it would be MUCH, MUCH more than $2-300!! Now...Brighton, Prada, LV, D&B, KB, Ferrag....oh....I'm getting DIZZY!!! ($$$$$$$...)

I asked the Fraud associate about all of this (the investigation), and he informed me they had a delivery location (they charged it using "some" of my information, but did not have ALL...and COACH let it "slide"--so they are STUCK with the cost, as the CC company DENIED it! YEA!). The thief shipped it to a location, where they most likely p/u stolen purchases. This kind of crime is skyrocketing! I can hardly wait for the "fingerprint" system to be implemented!

I am so confused! OK, who had their identity stolen, Disbug or Df? Either way... I'll smack them with my hockey stick before we take them to the cops! <----must be getting aggression out today!
