A few more....

MomPoppinsDoes your entire family fit in the Jr Suite????I would love to be able to get a jr suite but I wasn't sure we'd fit.

You can fit 6 people comfortably in a Jr. Suite. There is a fold out couch, a murphy bed and a king bed. There may be room for a cot too. Hope this helps!

Kapp, Welcome back and I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the Dolphin!

DF~ Thanks for the memories through your pics! It's been many years since my visit to DL. The facade of It's A Small World in DL is so much more impressive than its cousin in WDW. I also like the plantation themed "Haunted Mansion" in DL.

Kapp~Welcome to the "converted" club - S/D lovers are we! I am so glad your stay was magical. But, shhhhhhhhhhhhh, keep our love of all things S/D a secret. :teeth:

:wave2: room wave to Muffy, ZW, MP, Disbug, #1HM, Ozziewags, et al.

dreamflight99 Welcome back glad you had a great trip.
Thanks for the lovely pictures.

Kapp Welcome back glad you enjoyed the Dolphin .We are going to the Dolphin for the first time next week hope we have the same type of luck.

Thanks for those GREAT pics!! I've never been to DL, and now I so want to go. Post 'em if you have more!

Hi folks. Again I have another question. I really appreciate any comments!!

O.K. I now have two standard reservations for ourselves; family of four and my parents.
We are staying 6 nights and they are staying 4 nights. We got our reservation through DU and I qualify for the teachers discount, and I asked for connecting rooms if possible.
When I look at my reservation on the website it states a resort view at $135. per night. My parents reservation states resort view at $185 per night.
I'm planning on call DU tomorrow, but the person I spoke with at the Dolphin said it might be because that is all that is available with connecting rooms. She said to have my agent (DU) call tomorrow. I really wanted the standard rate for both rooms.
Does this sound right?
Sorry to get so wordy, I'm so new at this. Also we do have a Starwoods Prefered Guest Card, but not any points.

I love the photos! More More More!!!

I wish they had put NewOrleans Square and the Disneyland style of HM in DW. I was soooo disappointed the first time I went to Florida and their were no lace balconies, etc.

What is that kabob thing? Can I get that at DW anywhere? It looks really good.

Dreamflight ~ DLand looks great! I love seeing all the pictures. I talked to a friend at my daughters cheerleading/basketball game last night and they are going to Disneyland this coming summer. They have been to WDW several times as well and this will be their 2nd. trip to Disneyland. I can't seem to get DH to go to California and Disneyland yet. He likes WDW to much. :)

Zurgswife ~ YES! We all fit comfortably in a Jr. Suite. The layout is like having 3 rooms (space wise) The end of the suite is the king room, the middle is the living room, and the other end is the murphy bed (which we kept down all the time) We are very comfortable in a Jr. Suite. There is plenty of room. We are used to having 2 connecting rooms and this is better because of the extra space. There is 3 different a/c controls, I looks like it is 3 rooms to me. Let me know if you have any more questions.

poohbear7 ~ Your turn is almost here :hyper:

kctinkerbell ~ I cannot help you with your question sorry. I would call dreamsunlimited and see what they can find out.

The girls get out today for their Thanksgiving break.. I love it when they are at home. ::yes::

Oh...the KABOB thing, mmmmm.

These are in New Orleans (Adventureland) across from the Jungle Cruise! The ones pictured are chicken with a sweet tropical sauce ($3.25 each). We also purchased beef with a hot and spicy sauce ($3.50 each). For around $20, we bought 5 kabobs and a pretzel! Delicious and very filling. ::yes::

I do not believe these are available in WDW (I WISH!). We also love the Blue Bayou (Monte Cristo sandwich) restaurant, which sits inside next to the water (as the boats of the Pirates of the Carribean pass). It reminds me of the MEXICO pavillion, and the river of time. It is beautiful, and the food is delightful.

I must also add...the Turkey legs here at Disneyland are ASTOUNDING. Much better than at WDW. Buy the ones on the circle just across from the Castle. They are $6 each, and cooked to a mouth-watering, juicy tenderness...which causes the meat to literally "fall away from the bone". They are not tough or stringy, but juicy and perfect. We each tried one, and decided the superior quality is partially due to the preparation. Each leg is individually wrapped in a special package/paper bag, which retains the heat and juice (the longer it sits...the more tender the meat becomes). In WDW, they pile all the legs in a bin--where they lose some juices and can become a bit dry/tough (due to prolonged heat). We have always LOVED the legs at WDW (as they all taste like HAM), but now CRAVE the legs at DL! (LOL). I'll take a photo of this on my next visit. :sunny:

Everything about this park is "special", as I can truly FEEL "Walt" in every nook and cranny. I am so pleased we bought annual passes, and look forward to returning soon.

Hope you have enjoyed the photo montage I posted, and can someday make it to these parks in Anaheim. The WEATHER...is always pleasant.
