New Dollar Code

In a never ending quest for a lower rate for my week (10/23-30) I have been searching high and low and today it finally came through for me!

I got an e-mail from Dollar $189 for a minivan for a week now through December 15th

The code is COMMD if you are interested!

Brings the total to $241.30

Does anyone have a $$ off coupon. $20 wouldn't be too bad?

I have been waiting for the same thing and just rebooked also. Cannot get much better than that for a minivan!!! I don't think that Dollar does coupons like National, as least not that I have ever seen.

This was in an email from Dollar and the dates are from now thru Dec 15, 2004. I saw your countdown and it should work for those dates.Maybe somehow it is linked to the email address.

I dont think the code is linked to emails b/c the newsletter says to foward it to family and friends. If anyone wants me to forward it to them PM me with your email address.

I just booked a mini van for $176.99 with no code for Dec 4 to 11. I just saved $40. Try it without a code.

Is this for your trip in 17 days or is this for you trip in 42 days?

Finally was able to get the deal to come up, unfortunately there aren't any vans left for that weekend....darn it......

try going to travelocity .... here's the steps

1)when you get to the home page click on the top for just cars
2)don't fill out the form yet
3)do to the bottom of the brown box that you would be filling out and click on the link that says "one way rentals, coupons, and other options"
4)fill it all out and the very last thing says Car Company (click on Dollar) and enter the coupon code which is
COMMD

That is what I did and how I got my reservation. Good Luck!

still didn't work, said it could not complete my request at this time...I have no clue what I am doing wrong...maybe they are sold out??????

I rec'd the newsletter with that code, but wouldnt work for my dates.10-17....10-23.... at MCO .maybe i'll just call

This is too weird. When I originally made my ressie using the e-mail link that I got Dollar automatically inserted the discount code. Now when I go in and try to reserve another van using the same code it's telling me that it's an invalid code and inserting another code COMNM or something like that. When I try and use that code I am getting an error message as well. I did this on both Dollar.com and Travelocity.

Do they have to honor the rate that I got? I printed out the reciept from Travelocity?
