Saw this on another blog.

I`ve been waiting for something like this. I think it is the first step to getting FP+. They next need to get parkwide WiFi.

As someone planning their first WDW trip I shudder at the thought of Disney IT doing ANYTHING- especially releasing a "new" app...

Roaming rates, for Canadian carriers at least have come way down. We use Rogers, and for $5/day we get unlimited data, calls, and SMS messages (up to our plan limits). I for one can't wait to use the DL app when we're there in November.

I read this as not being connected to the My Disney Experience App. IMHO this new App would be unique to Anaheim.

It may not be functionally connected with myDisneyExperience, but when I loaded this app onto my phone and logged in using my MDE credentials, it put my name and my MDE Minnie Mouse icon at the top of the page. So maybe somebody's talking to somebody?

I just sent a link for the app to DD who is in Disneyland with her girlfriends right now. It looks promising. Does anyone know anything about the Shop Disney Parks app mentioned? Tried looking for it in the App Store but didn't get anywhere.

I did this, too. But it's not just my MDE credential - it's my ID for the whole of the Disney site, and I've used it to make my ADRs at DLR, as well.

There is not. Right now it's only APs, and only works for park entry (not discounts or FPs).
