If someone is claiming that the racetrack is being dismantled, just come out and say so. Why would that be any more dangerous to reveal than any other info posted here? Until then, you're just playing games.

I have no proof to back it up - but I have heard that the Petty contract is up for renewal soon. I have heard it may not be renewed.

The Petty Driving School is the only thing keeping WDW Speedway there. It has asbolutely no other use other than taking up valuable space. If that says anything......

The inside of the track has been bare for years. Litterally the only thing inside the track is the parking lot, and the buildings that the Petty School rents. Nothing else exists inside the track. The outside grandstands are LONG GONE, and they haven't actually held an event at the track for racing in around 6 years.

This, in my opinion, is a great post for this board. Not claiming to know any super secrets. Telling a rumor heard. Nothing more, nothing less.

I don't see anyone getting fired for this and it sure beats a "I know something you don't." post.

Well, probably, because in the old days, WDI had pretty much an Iron fist.

The Wonderful world of Disney, the original Disneyland show was produced for the specific purpose of showing people each and every thing Walt was doing with his park. If a concept changed, then he told you it changed. There was never a concern about Orcs from Burbank squashing projects.

It's an entire corporate structure change. One that has ruined the company.

Now thats the YoHo I remember. Your last couple of posts around here seemed kind of tame. Anyway, I'm not sure if the company is ruined. Thats a little strong. The company is lagging, in a down turn, etc. OK. But ruined? I don't know.
