Alfred Angelo is teaming up with Disney to create a new bridal collection that will make its debut at Chicago bridal market in October and hit stores a few months thereafter. The gowns will take a modern, sophisticated spin on styles inspired by the classic Disney fairy tales. And the gowns will be totally affordable too, ranging from $599 to $1,299. More information (and pictures!) will be available in October.

I can't wait!!!!

Do you know if that means they got rid of the Disney / Kirstie Kelly line? :confused3
I try to go onto her website and it leads to nothing. Even all her accessories and such...

I haven't been able to find any either. I read the discounted a ton and sold them at cosco last year.

Yeah, there's a teeny tiny link on the new Alfred Angelo site that says "Kirstie Kelly for Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings brides, Click here." and leads to a pop-up window that says "Thank you so much for allowing us to be part of your special day. If you have questions about your Kirstie Kelly for Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings gown, Kirstie and her team will be happy to assist. Please contact Alexandra at (213) 347-0031 ext 307, Alexandra@kirstiekelly.com or visit KirstieKelly.com."

There's still a Disney Bridal section on Kirstie Kelly's web site, but I wouldn't be surprised if the dresses had been discontinued, considering their reputation for being overpriced for the level of workmanship and fabric quality.

Oh i cant wait to see them. I am going to be looking for my dress in the next few months (and probably purchase it in Feb) so YAY.

I spoke with a lady at a bridal salon where I was trying on dresses. I guess Alfred Angelo bought out the Disney line of dresses. So, Kirstie Kelly's Disney dresses have been discontinued for good.

There was a local bridal shop that carried the line by my house. They were selling all of their Kirstie Kelly dresses between $150 - $300. Unfortunately, I am not a size 8, so none of the dresses they had remaining fit me.

Hey ladies!

I just got back from L.A. a couple nights ago and I actually went to the Kirstie Kelly Boutique and found out what the situation is...

Kirstie Kelly is no longer designing for Disney. She did it for 5 years but is now moving on and focusing on her own, personal line of dresses. This is why Alfred Angelo is taking over as the new designer. Kirstie Kelly's Disney dresses are NOT at any type of sale prices. Some of them are no longer available, meaning, they no longer make them. Some of them ARE still available though. I ended up buying my dress, a Sleeping Beauty gown. I'm going back in January to pick it up :)

Anyways, just wanted to share my knowledge, in case anyone was curious :)

Crap! I NEED to buy her jewlery that she made with that line A.S.A.P.!

So good news... my friend just found this online after hearing about the new line... some look good, but I think the KK line was much more luxurious, IMHO.

Since I don't have enough posts to put the link, search for the video on you tube; its called Disney Fairy Tale Weddings by Alfred Angelo and the user name who posted it DisneyLiving

Maybe someone who has enough posts can put the link up for others after me :confused3

Thanks for posting the link. IMO, the dresses are OK, but I still don't see very much of a connection to the Disney princesses, same as with the Kirstie Kelly dresses. They don't look any different than any other dresses that I've seen, and I am a fan of AA. :confused3

I can't wait to try them on! I want to try on the sleeping beauty one, cinderella, snow white, belle, and tiana dress! :)

Oooh, I love the Cinderella and the silhouette of Jasmine (but not the halter-y thing around the neck)!!!

And since FH wanted to see them and can't watch Youtube at work, I have screenshots to share.

:eek:I am!!! What's the store called? Maybe they'll ship :D

Well, I love the Jasmine dress and the Snow White (my fav Princess:love:)
However, I think they'll be too expensive and too fancy for either my Memories or Escape wedding:sad2:

Do you think they'll be releasing necklaces with this new Alfred Angelo line? :confused3 Jewelry is such an important part of the whole ensemble, after all.
