NEW Disney Visa Vacation Package Deal

Now we need to know who we contact at Disney to voice our displeasure. If 1% back for Disney Rewards is as good as it gets for loyal card members, then count me out as a card member. Although I had planned on going to Disney again this summer, just last night my husband and I were considering another destination. We'd love to go to Hawaii. We have spent thousands of dollars over the years at Disney (hate to count it all up), but maybe its time for loyal customers like me to move on. Especially when purposely being locked out of an incentive program.:rolleyes:
 
This whole issue got me a little ticked off. We decieded not to go to WDW this summer. For the same money we can take our first cruise. Had the 7 for 4 offer been available to us , I would jumped at the chance of going to WDW with such a big savings.

I think if Disney hears enough unhappy voices, they will change this deal to all Disney Visa holders. Last summer when they were going to change the Dining PS to package holders first and then others later, there was a revolt and they didn't go through with that change and made it the same for everyone.

Call, email...let them know you're unhappy.

If that doesn't work, I'll have one less credit card. My 1% back has been a pain anyway. I used it on a catalog order and it took 3 months for it to be fixed. They didn't use them the first time and then the next order they actually charged me for the $$ instead :( It was a PAIN! :mad:
 
I did talk to someone about complaining. He told to e-mail them atwww.cardmemberservices.com.
I'm cashing in my dollars then canceling the card.
 

I just checked Bank one site. It is up and running and no
special offer. I emailed card member services and explained
my frustation and threatened to cancel my card if the offer
does not become available to all card holders.
 
If BankOne doesn't come out with an offer for current cardholders that I can use this summer, I'll be cancelling my card too. I certainly can get 1% back from just about ANY rewards credit card and I won't be restricted to using that 1% on Disney merchandise. What do I need their plastic for?
 
Can someone please give me a link to a current promotion with bank one, or tell me what is being offered???? I am not a customer yet, but will become if offered enough incentive. Thanks!
 
I think you have to receive the promotion to you personally. We received an application but it didn't have that offer. I am not sure if you get a new card if you automatically quality for the deal. The entire thing just stinks!

I totally agree, this entire thing just DOES STINK! You cannot offer an incentive of that magnitude to new customers who don't even frequent Disney World, and just hang the loyal customers out to dry!!:mad: That is why I can't say enough how important it is to call and voice your displeasure and to email. Ask to speak to supervisors and kindly request that they pass on your displeasure to the powers that be. Maybe we won't see any satification out of this, but our voices will have been heard. Then we can each make our own decisions from there.
 
I called Disney Guest Relations and Bank One Customer Service and I sent both an email as well.

When I call Bank One to cancel my card, I will say, "give me the package or cancel my card." I only applied for the card for the deals. I have never gotten any deals and I've had the card for two years:(
 
I'm with jaadin, I just want some information. Is it just a special mailer to "special" people? Is there an ad in the Sunday paper? (I looked, but my coupons section is missing today, go figure!) I saw nothing on the web sites? But some people say they got the deal by calling?

What I think I know is, the deal starts today, but with no official listing of the deal. Yet.

I understand the frustration of card holders that have not seen a deal in few years. But it seems like there is no real information about the deal. Shouldn't we just wait and see what the deal really is?
 
I didnt get the mailer when I received my card, nor was there an incentive when I applied.....I just wanted the card hoping it would give me discounts. When I called WDW, I said I wanted to take advantage of the offer. (I read in this thread).......she took my cc # and called Bank one.......said I could take advantage. I didnt ask if this was for new card holders or not...but I think it would nt hurt if you called expecting the package.....I wouldn't ask any questions to tip the cm off.

Well, I called both Disney and Bank One to voice my displeasure. Disney said the deals come from Bank One...gave me the phone #. I called Bank One, who said the deals come from Disney!!! I told him Disney referred me to them. He then said the same thing everyone has heard...you had to receive a special insert in the flyer. I said I just want my complaint noted...he saidhe would pass it to his supervisor. He also suggested my husband, who is a charter card member, call the # on the back of his card to complain as well.
 
Hey everyone, did everyone see the "I got the new Visa deal w/o insert" post today? Several people were able to get CM's who would book this for them w/o the code. Each seemed to keep calling untill they got a CM that was willing to book it... also the 800 number is listed in the post.

I've been over on the resort board as well. I've called I think 4 times now. I even applied for a new card. NO luck. Disney has some way to look up new card holders so even though they don't have a code CRO/WDTC has access to the names of new cardholders.
 
I encourage all of you who already have the disney card to email or call bank one and complain.

If you log on to the card member services part of bankone.com you can send an email to bank one that is connected to your personal account.

I will not put up with being excluded from the first real deal that the visa has offered!
 
I just need to vent. I tried calling Disney (3 times) to see if they would give me the prices but no only new members. I have had my card since November, thats pretty new. Then I called Bank One only to speak to a rude supervisor named Mike. He said if I di not think that 0% APR for 6 months and Disney Rewards are good enough then he did not know what was. I could have screamed!!! I will be paying off the balance with my tax money and they cancelling the card.
Any card that gives big savings like that only to certain customers doesn't need my business. I do feel better that so many of you feel the same. Thanks for listening.

While we are so steamed up, let's write letters to Disney and Bank One. Sometimes if only one complains nothing happens, but when enough people complain, sometimes policies will change too. I've already written both Disney and Bank One.::yes::
 
I know that it won't get you anywhere but bomb their phone lines with calls. This is absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!! The people at Bank One seem concerned about their lost business if people start destroying their cards. My DH has a business card through Bank One as well. I know they were looking at our aacounts and the woman I talked to was a bit hot when I told her Disney was pointing fingers at Bank One. She said, "if I had a code, I'd give it to you." It was someone above the normal customer service person. It made me feel better, but I'm still so frustrated and I am not sure what else I can do. :confused:
 
Does anyone know how long it takes to get approved for this visa if you apply online?
