New Disney Visa "Inspire" card

Even if it's just a percentage more rewards, that would be nice since we're considering purchasing some direct points in the near-ish future. I'd take 3% back over 2% even with an increase in annual dues. I like having Disney rewards to spend on our trip on food/souvenirs. (I wonder if I can use them on TOT at VDH or not?) It's nice to have less out-of-pocket expenses during our travel.

Yes the TOT is just a normal hotel charge.

What does the 300 + 300 part say? I can't quite read it.

I do like the look of the card. Black with gold mickey looks classy. But hopefully they have a silver mickey version for VGCGroupie

I zoomed in on my original and am guessing it says $1,000 spend. Does that scale from the Premier tier?

There hasn't been a whiff of this in the credit card blogs/forums.

....I suspect that's at least partly because....

Compared to other cards available, it will probably be underwhelming

Premier says $400 statement credit when you spend $1000 in first 3 months.

I just learned about Pay yourself back on the cards in a thread on the budget board. You can avoid transferring to the rewards card and then using the rewards card at the hotel by just using Pay Yourself back on Disney purchases. I just did that with my last chunk of rewards. I put $5. and change on pay myself back on my Magic Key payment.

Ahh, then probably a higher threshold for Inspire. Does look like a leading 1 in there at least. Really wish I had taken a moment to get a better picture during checkout!

Also intrigued, but like others, will be surprised if this is anything other than a card with a higher AF and modestly better benefits over the Premier. Given how terrible both current Disney Visas are (and, yes, I currently hold the regular and Premier as does my wife ), will be surprised if this is anything worth holding beyond the year 1 sign-up bonus.

Chase has been sending me surveys about my Disney rewards Visa non stop. I never open them, I bet they are gauging interest on the card. I guess I will go pull up one of those emails now.

I just want to add how funny I find it to be that it's black. I used to work for Amex and assisted the oh so exclusive Black centurion card holders!

I had taken the survey either sometime last year or late 2024.

They had asked about additional earnings categories and increased % back but can’t remember it all. There was an interesting question though about free transportation from MCO ala Magical Express type offering.

They also asked about AF and they were raised but I think all of the choices were under $300.

Well now that we know its for a good reason we wont to do the survey I couldn't locate mine, I must have deleted them.

It's not worth a new app for the lower end bonus for a card I wont love. But if the AF is low enough and can be offset I would upgrade.
