Samantha Brown is going to give us "Season of Disney," and it sounds like the folks at Walt Disney World should be overjoyed.

Travel Channel announced four programs in "Season of Disney," which will air at 9 p.m. ET Fridays, starting April 11.

The first will be "Season of Disney: Samantha Brown's Favorites," in which she discusses what she likes best at Disney World and Disneyland.

Travel Channel offered this preview: "In the parks, she encounters wild animals on the Wanyama Safari at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, dines at the chef's table at Napa Rose Restaurant, steps inside Disneyland's Dream Suite, stops for a fruity refreshment at Tropical Imprts and watches Cirque du Soleil's 'La Nouba' acrobatic and modern dance performance."

"Season of Disney: On a Dime" premieres April 18. Disney World guests provide money-saving tips.

"Season of Disney: Splurge!" debuts April 25. Travel Channel says the program offers "a guided tour through the many extravagant amenities, activities and events."

"Season of Disney: Royal Treatment" bows May 2. At the Magic Kingdom, the program looks at a wedding and a sweet 16 party.

More Info:

Season of Disney: Samantha Brown’s Favorites - Friday, April 11th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT – Samantha Brown explores Disney’s best year-round attractions. When most people think of Disney, they think of the rides but there’s actually some really great food at Disney World as well as amazing shopping opportunities. Brown looks at the rides, food, shopping, characters, shows and parades at Disney World and Disneyland.

Season of Disney: On a Dime - Friday, April 18th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT – Let’s say you watched the Favorites special and it’s convinced you that you need to book a trip to Disney World or Disneyland but money’s tight and you’re not sure you can afford it. In this special, guests use money-saving tips given to them by travel experts to see how well they really work.

Season of Disney: Splurge! - Friday, April 25th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT – Maybe money’s not really an issue or you’re one of those people who loves to see how the other half lives. While Disney definitely offers some great deals for guests with a tighter budget, the resorts also feature lavish amenities and activities for people with some real money to spend.

Season of Disney: Royal Treatment - Friday, May 2 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. This last Season of Disney special shows off how Disney handles certain special events like onsite weddings and sweet sixteens as well as what its like to be crowned princess for a day.

the last week of January when DH & I were there for a week. She looks much thinner & smaller in person and was very nice to everyone. It will be great to have some new programs.:happytv:

Just a reminder that the next Travel Channel "Seasons of Disney" show premieres tonight at 9:00 EST. Tonight's show is called "Disney on a Dime".

I hope its better than last weeks show

IMHO, it wasn't. I was under the impression that all of these shows would be hosted by Samantha Brown, but only the first one was. Did you think that the show stressed Disney's Magical Express enough? I didn't hear many tips that would result in any substantial savings for a Disney trip. The show's producers should have referenced the Dis!

I thought it was better than the Disney Splurge
