Don't recall seeing this posted here yet, so I apologize if this has already been mentioned....

Disney has launched a website to sell upscale products.

http://www.disneyresortcollection.com/

I wonder if this is in conjunction with the Kingdom Towers being marketed as a more "upscale" product? If so, it looks like it will be very nice! Can't wait to see the models!

:cool1:

well you know how many times someone here has asked what the bedding was at Disney. or sheets, pillows, etc.

I think this is just a site to sell it to us and other interested parties.

I don't know about you but I wouldn't want to buy the crap sheets that they use on the beds at the DVCs. :rotfl2:

Upscale products ?? What's so upscale about a bed ?? It looks like any other Sealy that you could buy at 1-800-mattress for less than half the price.

They say that money is only printed at the US Mint, but Disney is a money manufacturing machine and Disney never misses a chance to seperate you from your hard earned greenbacks.

A 26" high lamp for $250 ??

Maybe I'm looking at this differently, but a $170 twin size duvet cover seemed a bit "upscale" to me... :confused3 and weren't all of the DVC resorts supposed to be getting higher quality sheets and towels.

Personally, I think duvet covers would be nice - at least they could be cleaned easily (i.e., more frequently than the bedspreads)! :thumbsup2

I just called the number on the website, curious about the beds, specifically, the California King Pillow Top at $1500.00. I have a California King Pillow Top that was approximately $1100 many years ago. The $1500.00 doesn't surprise me. I do think the comfort level of the mattresses at Disney are superior to my own mattress at home, but I'd definitely look at the stores for the Sealy Posturepedic and price them out before I'd buy from the site. Delivery is $200 to NY plus the tax - that's an expensive mattress, not as expensive as those foam jobs though :goodvibes

I haven't seen any bedding that looks like that at the DVC resorts. The last time I stayed at OKW, my sheets had holes in them and they were very thread bare - pretty pathetic.

The pictures on the website you posted look a little like Marriott's Revive bedding collection - soooo comfortable.

interesting to see, but such crap. i wll really willing to take a second look at the princess mattress but who cares since the sheets are going to cover the bed

I love the bad and the bedding from the Contemporary, sooooo luxurious
