Has anybody heard of any new disney outlet stores coming? I was in a disney store in TN in the summer, the employee said they were opening something like 40 or more new disney outlets store in the next coming year. I live in Roanoke, Va we just have the regular disney store. Any help would be great.

All 3 outlet malls in Orlando have Disney outlets and someone posted a thread about them opening one in Atlanta. Have not heard of them opening more elsewhere. If they did, expect them in outlet malls, not regular malls.

today we passed a sign in the atlantic city outlet stores mall saying "coming soon: disney store!" - so i guess it's coming....

They are opening on in Great Lakes Crossing in Aubirn Hills, MI. They have had a sign post in the store's window for about 3 months. I wish it would open already. To make matters worse, they opened a Cinnabon across the hall from the Disney store outlet. Not only will I spend to much money at the outlet no I eat too many calories that day too.

There is currently a Disney outlet store in NY - at the Woodbury Commons outlets in Harriman, NY (close to NYC). This is really a Disney STORE outlet - most of the items in the store come from the Children's Place owned Disney Store and not from the parks. But its still fun to get a deal!

Does anybody know what the deal is with the Disney Store (outlet?) that used to be at Potomac Mills Mall, Woodbridge VA, (on I-95 and south of DC)? I was at the Mall a couple of weeks ago and it was all boarded up!

agnes!

There's one in the Jackson Outlets by Great Adventure. It was basically all of the same merchandise that is on clearance at the regular Disney Store (Think Meet the Robinsons junk). I'll go in when I'm in the area, but not worth a special trip.

They are just doing a rehab of the store....suppose to make it look a lot nicer. The woman I talked to back in September said they hope to be open again around Vet's Day in November or shortly thereafter. So no worries...it will be back! :)

Well, then, they should post a sign! Sheesh, you walk by and it is literally all boarded up with plain white plywood...nothing about "making some future magic" etc...

agnes!

We are getting one in Gulfport, MS in November. Yeah! Just in time for Christmas.:santa:

I have heard they are putting one in Concord Mills in Concord, NC. It was supposed to be open by late summer but still no news on a date. This was from the Concord Mills website. They still list it as coming soon.

That is only 2.5 hours from Roanoke.

OH I loved Potomac Mills.....I went to college at George Washington and used to shop there...no scoop on the D Outlet, but you made me miss a fav shopping place...

I also wish they would open either a Disney store or an outlet here in the Mid-West aside from the HUGE cities. We used to have one but they closed up. The Mid-West is a huge market for Disney and even if I had to drive 30-45 minutes I would, but Chicago or St.Louis are out of the question for one store.

Does anybody know if there is a disney outlet in the washington state, near seattle?

Thanks for the advice,

Amy:cool1:

There's a Disney Store Outlet coming to the Rockvale Outlets in Lancaster, PA. There was also one in the Rehobeth, DE outlets...not sure if it's still there or not. :tinker:

There is one opening in the St. Louis area in January (I think) or later.

There is a Disney Outlet store in Grapevine, TX. I happened to be walking by it and stopped in to see what was up.

It's even worse than the last version of the Disney Store. Cheap junk designed to sell to the kids. Bring your child in and it's plush candy and toys everywhere - rugrat begs for stuff, Bob Iger meets his bonus numbers.

And the Disney name that stood for quality erodes a little more...
