NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

Anyone with a US Bank card, check your offers. I have 10% back at Best Buy, up to $23, expires 12/1/25. Will use the US Bank cash+ card since I have electronics stores as one of my categories for the quarter so I’ll get another 5% back.

People who pay towards dues early. We have a second contract now. When I go to pay and select pay towards and pick the second contract. It still totals it all up in one bucket. Is that right? It’ll just apply towards both in January?
As @kydisneyfans pointed out you can select which contract to select.

Make sure you pick "Pay by Contract" and then you can click Pay Balance (Never an option for me since GC can only hold $1K) or "Apply Other Amount"
These choices will show under each of your contracts.

No luck on my 3 Cash+ accounts. Fingers Crossed we will get a BB Sale and you can really stack up the savings!!

Buy 3 wait for it to arrive, buy 1 wait for it to arrive and repeat.

Some have had success others not so much.

I would rather just get the guaranteed 4 incase they sold out in between waiting for the gift cards to come.
so you can't just buy 4 at a time, and once you get all four, buy more?

In my experience for the years I have done this, once the new dues load they apply a portion to each contract. I have tried to do it just as described so one contract will be paid off (because psychologically I like having something paid in full), but once the dues load they apply a portion of the pre-payment to each contract

It's been years since I have paid in advance but from what I can remember I believe you are correct that it really just goes in one bucket.

Would it be worth buying multiple Sam’s $15 memberships to just get a boat load of cards?
Like, if you had thousands in dues seems like a safe way to get 8.8% off (factoring in membership cost)
Plus your credit card cash back obviously.

Heads up to those who have the Southwest credit card. I got an email offer of double companion pass points on warehouse and department store purchases 10/1-12/41/2025. If you're a Southwest customer and you're trying for the CP, this pairs nicely with the Sam's Club Disney GCs next month.
My problem with this is that it closes at the end of the year so these will really credit as points earned in 2026 (so for companion pass in 2027) if I'm understanding correctly?

They will credit when your statement closes. If you are wanting them for 2025 as long as the purchases appear by your December statement they will be in addition to any points earned in 2025 which could give you the CP for the rest of 2025 and all of 2026.

If it hits on your statement in January or later then the points would go towards earning CP in 2026 and all of 2027
