NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

I keep getting pet offers. My dog died last year, and every time I get this, it just makes me a little sad. I sent them feedback on this, but of course, to no avail. Looks like it’s random, though.
I’m so sorry. Fwiw the pet offers are not as targeted as other offers, I have 4 players, no one has a pet or is looking to get a pet and everyone has pet offers 🙄

Last AP renewal they told me it all had to be on one GC so thankful we can combine over $900!
I've always had the understanding that Disney gift cards used for DVC & other Disney related bills are unable to go past $1,000. I use Premier Disney Visa to pay for 'the above $1,000'.
I've never tried to give them a card past $1,000 so maybe they've changed?

No that hasn't changed Disney Gift cards are limited to $1K but you can use multiple cards to complete the transaction.

Edit:
As @AngusIsMySpiritAnimal pointed out you can't do it online though. In park/store and over the phone they will take multiple cards.

I tried to hit the Westin Chase offer for a Swan deposit booked online with Marriott but it’s been a week and hasn’t credited yet. Will update if it does. Charge shows as Walt Disney World, categorised as Westin. Seems weird but I haven’t hit a Westin Chase offer before and my rule of thumb with Chase offers is 2 weeks before I consider it a fail.
I ended up cancelling the booking last week but I never did see the credit from the westin offer for the Swan deposit paid online on Marriott's website. Charged 7/5, offer still shows as unused in offer wallet. In the meantime I've had 2 other offers credit on that card. (Obviously the refund means I'm not due the credit but with it not even showing as used it didn't even get triggered.) Weird.

Yep, unfortunately that was my experience too, and same with other offers posting within a week. Really annoying.

Question about combining GC over a $1000 using the website.

If you combine to $1000 using the website, then reserve a room only reservation for $900+, then combine more on that same GC totaling $1000, and then cancel the reservation receiving the deposit back would it be a GC with more than $1000 on it?

No, the card is limited to $1000. I think they have to send you a new gift card with the amount over $1000.

Nope. It won't process, the $1k max load is strict. Ultimately Disney would have to issue you a new gc/gc's, which you'll have to wait on and it's all a bit of a hassle. Therefore it is highly recommended to not make payments of over $1k that might get refunded on a single gc.

No, I believe that is still the limit - I couldn't remember if it was exactly $1000 or $999. Thankfully my dues are still under that so I haven't had to test the boundaries though in 2024, I was able to use multiple gift cards. It was just last month when renewing my AP that they said they could only take one card.

You never replied where they said it was that you could only use one card.
Was it over the phone or in the parks?
I was able to do so in the parks in October and @AngusIsMySpiritAnimal was able to do it over the phone in March.
Since this happened to you last month I'm trying to formulate a game plan when I have to renew in October.
Thanks

Help!
My nephew and his wife arrived yesterday at Universal Studios for their honeymoon. I didn’t know that’s where they were going until the wedding this past Sat. They are staying the Saphire Falls hotel. Apparently you can’t buy E-Universal gift cards so I tried calling front desk at Saphire Falls I wanted to buy a gift card and have it at front desk for their arrival. Whoever I spoke with told that it wasn’t possible to do this. I asked about by a gift card from their gift shop by phone and them holding card for my nephew to go in and pick up. The person I spoke with just kept telling me to just Venmo money and they can spend that in parks. I tried to tell him I know what Venmo is I want a Univeral gift card! Has anyone been able to do this ?

I googled to see if this was possible and there was response that said it was so I tried a 2nd time but was still told “no”.

Thanks I was going to be purchasing new ones for those in my group that had theirs expire and not activate them before the price went up in October.

I guess I'm doing it sooner now!! :)

Think of a different gift. Universal gift cards are much harder to get hold of than Disney. Even if SF sold them I don’t see the hotel being allowed to take such a risk. A credit card payment for a gc over the phone that you then deliver to a 3rd party? I’d be wondering if I should call security just at receiving such a request lol
