Just want to shout out to everyone who contributes to this thread, especially the organizers. So far - for my 2025 DVC dues I have managed to save over 20% on Disney Gift Cards. This includes using Rakuten cash back to buy gift cards. If I didn't use Rakuten cash back, I would have accumulated slightly less in gift cards, and still saved almost 11%, just with using CC offers and BJs coupons.

I have a few more hundred to get to have all my 2025 dues. The CVS offers I have on my Chase Cards will get me close.

While anything is possible, most of the discounts that Best Buy has had on Disney gift cards in the last few years have only been for people with membership.

I don't necessarily use or track which sites pay for using Rakuten for Disney GC purchases. I use Rakuten when I shop online in general. I then use some (or all) of that cash back money when Rakuten pays out to buy Disney gift cards - effectively free Disney gift cards - which brings my %age saved up. If I take the cards I bought "free" with Rakuten payouts out of the equation, I saved around 11%.

Thank you for explaining. When posting the percent of savings, it is probably best to just post the amount you saved off the actual amount paid and not include money applied from saving elsewhere. Otherwise, it confuses everyone to how you get such a large amount of savings.

For example, if you had $50 in Rakuten dollars that you earned from buying goods and used that to buy a $50 gift card, it would get very confusing to post that you had saved 100% on the gift card.

I think that ship has sailed for RMN and Rakuten when buying gift cards. I think it's best if you read the terms yourself. Some peeps have the Capitol One CC, so that might make a difference on how you get paid out though I'm not sure. Using just the portal I believe they give you like reward dollars that can be used to buy other gift cards from them. It's been a very long time since I've used them, hopefully others will chime in.
