NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

These are some trusting purchases for declining tracking. I hope it works out but PLEASE keep that in the back of your head. I’ve had many successful purchases of dgc’s via mail but twice I’ve had them lost…
Never really given this any thought - have had Target & BJs mail physical cards. Is there a higher risk with giftcards.com to justify $8.99 per card (which is highway robbery IMO)? How many others have lost cards and is there really no recourse?

I did a second order of three gift cards and it was canceled…
BB worked for me for a second order of 3 @marsh0013

I was also able to do two orders of three DGC's. Tried to do a third order and it told me I met my limit.

Okay so I gave it a shot and my second order went through and the gift cards have been delivered for both orders of 3. Sorry for the cancellation @PrincessKL

Does anyone know what the renewal price is for a pirate pass? Including tax. Trying to figure out what I need

Cross posting this here since a lot of us are also DVC Members and buy discounted DGCs to help pay our dues:

Just as an FYI, I sent an email to Bill Diercksen, SVP of DVC and just received a call back about how we can no longer pay our DVC Dues using Disney Gift Cards when enrolled in monthly auto-pay. This means we will have to pay our DVC Dues all up front by 2/15/25 or use the monthly ACH debit when enrolled in monthly auto-pay.

The phone call was basically just to acknowledge they had received my email and they said that they couldn't make any changes. However, they encouraged me to ask other members to reach out an email about this change to paying via gift cards.

They said the issue was raised up to management at Member Accounting and that they were surprised that the change was being made without at least a year of notice and when I said we were just notified a few weeks ago and that dues must be paid in full by 2/15/24 the CM I spoke with said that is very short notice.

If anyone is not happy about this change, I would recommend emailing william.c.diercksen@disney.com and Members@DisneyVacationClub.com to voice your unhappiness.

I'd recommend leaving a phone number in your email if you want a call back.

Here is the email I sent if you'd like to use it or send something similar:

To whom it may concern,

I wanted to bring to your attention a change that was recently announced for paying DVC annual dues in 2025. With very little notice, members were told via a notification on the website that gift card payments will no longer be accepted when enrolled in monthly auto-pay. I and many others are impacted by this. I buy gift cards throughout the year and pay my dues, usually quarterly but now I am left surprised that I must either come up with the full payment in gift cards by 2/15/25, pay in full by credit card or use auto-debit monthly.

I do not understand why this change is being made and am not happy about it. I have been paying this way for the last 4 years.

For those of us who paid monthly using gift cards, we were not given any notice. It would have been nice to have been told a year in advance to better plan for this change, but removing payment options is a negative change for members and I wish you would reconsider this change and allow us to continue paying by gift card monthly. There should be no “processing” fee to pay by gift card, just like an auto-debit so why take it away from members?

Thank you for reading my email and listening to my feedback. I hope you will reconsider this change that is negatively impacting DVC members.

Sincerely,
[insert your name and phone number here]

Just tried buying a 2nd order of $300 giftcards.com gift cards at 10% off and it said my order is "on hold" and when I try to order a 3rd set it says I have exceeded the limit to use the coupon now.

Question about the Pepper app. Did my first purchase yesterday to take advantage of the AmEx offer. Looking at my Amex account, the purchase is listed as Moocho. Is that correct and will the Amex offer trigger?

Mine were lost with staples & sams. Both had tracking to prove it so I got my money back. Idk how it works with this gc dot com outfit

Correct. Will trigger

Can you not turn off auto pay, use all your gift cards and then turn back on auto pay with the remaining balance? I'm guessing your issue is that month to month you can't use gift cards?

Does your Chase card have an offer for Giftcards.com? If so you would need to activate it.

My offer is for 5% back up to $50 back ($1k spend) on one purchase so I could not not make multiple purchases the offer will only apply once per card that you have activated it on.

If you are paying for tracking and you have the offer you would need to purchase 2 $500 cards and 1 card for $101.40.

That takes you to $1,000.01 ensuring you max out the 5% back offer from Chase.

Making your end of the day out of pocket $950.01. If you happen to have a freedom/freedom flex card with the offer you could potentially save more by using PayPal as it is one of the 5% categories for Quarter 4 of 2024.

This is just buying the DGC straight out and not buying a giftcards.com card.

This is also not factoring any portals.

If my Chase offer is a one time use then I can’t buy the gift card dot com gift cards first since it’s one per order correct? Meaning my only option if I want that 5% from Chase is to purchase the DGCs outright?

You can turn off auto-pay until 1/15/25. After that, you cannot disable it anymore.

I used to pay quarterly with discounted gift cards. I'd build up enough DGCs to pay every quarter. Now I need to pay everything by 2/15/25 and I own a lot of points, so the dues are a lot too :)

I have a bunch of BestBuy accounts, my business account won't let me order more than 3 cards though.

However, so far I've been able to order 12 $50 DGCs from Best Buy from my multiple accounts and received 12. 3 of them that I ordered using a different account got cancelled though.

If you previously saved the PayPal Best Buy 5% offer, make sure to use that for 5% Cashback via PayPal (not sure if it will track, but if it does that would be another $6.75 cashback). It no longer is available for me though.

EDIT: Just got 3 more by ordering a 2nd time with 1 of my accounts. So I'm up to 15 now.

Your offer might be different but mine was a one time use.

You could use it for giftcard.com cards but after people were saying you could only use a $100 at a time I just chose the easiest and safest option. It is still a decent savings especially if you have PayPal money left to spend.

Can someone please explain how to use Pepper app? I'm so confused. It looks like I'm buying a GC from them and then using it to make a purchase? So I wouldn't be able to purchase another GC, correct?

Did anyone have any errors trying to complete an order of DGCs on gift cards .com? I'm using safari but it kept glitching and said there were technical errors completing my order. I have a pending charge, but no order number. Unclear if I should try again or give up!

ETA: I also got a Chase fraud alert, which really makes me question this site's legitimacy 😂
