New Disney Character Ride Along Program

What do you think about it? Seems like a good idea, $12 to have a Character ride with you on Splash Mountain would make for a great photo (Disney would sell alot more photos as well). Ok there's no new program, but it would be nice if it were possible to ride with the characters for photo ops. How about your family with 10-15 characters on the TOT? What a great memory/photo that would make. Say $100 (photo included) would be a good price, for that kind of memory. Of course cameras would need to be added to most of the rides and Disney would need to add many characters to fulfill requests. I'd be willing to pay $6-15 + photo price for to have Buzz ride with my kids on Space Rangers, Brer Fox on Splash, Cheshire on Tea Cups, etc. Of course reservations for characters would be needed in advance, multiples of the same character could be used throughout the park as long as not seen together. Big revenue boost for Disney and great memories for us, would sure be better than the year of a Million dreams illisuion.

Great idea but probably wont happen. If it does happen it would most likely cost more than $100. To have 1 disney character come to your wedding for 30 minutes cost around $900.

too much wear and tear on coustumes , probably a liability issure too........or no Donald fondled me! I could only imagine the lines.....I think the photo studio set up ike goofly kitchen with instant prints would be a better idea, I know I am too tired by the end of the day to go looking for my pics, thats why I think photopass is a great idea too. Maybe a stationary ride vehicle with a character to pose with would be better.
