Bought two silver Max versions at Best Buy yesterday. (It was the only color they had, but I was still excited to have found them!)

They also had several Micro versions. (Wow, they are really tiny - don't even look like cameras!) And one style of the mid priced (Click) - POTC. I would have liked the Click version, but I have two girls.

The box for the Max looks pretty neat, shows how you can add in the Disney characters, etc. on top of the pics. I'm going to order a 1 GB SD card from Newegg for them. If you buy an off brand you can get them pretty cheap.

It says it is 3 megapixel, built in flash and 4X digital zoom.

By the way, on Best Buy's website it shows there was no in store pickup availability, but yet they still had them.


I also got the girls the Mix Max Media Players at Target. Got one Tinkerbell and one High School Musical. Also got a couple clips for them. Wow, they are missing the boys here - all the movies seem girl related???

Man, Christmas gifts seem to be getting smaller but more expensive!

Have been searching everywhere for these. Just found some on ebay and they are not to much over retail. I'm going to buy the tinkerbell one from here because I just don't want to risk not being able to get one in time for the holidays. I was at 3 Best Buys in my area and they didn't have any.

Keep checking your best buys, your going to pay more on ebay since they usually charge way too much for shipping. Be sure to check around the store since the employees have no idea what these are or where they are located. Online doesn't seem to reflect what they have either. Check other stores too, I saw them at Ritz camera also.

I found mine on the "seasonal aisle". And they weren't all lumped together - the Micros were in one place, the Click in another and the Max was actually piled up on the bottom on the end of the aisle!

It looked like most things on the aisle were electronic type toys.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but how much is the Disney Pix Max?
Can it hold some type of memory card?
& do you think its features (3 mega pixels, 4x zoom) are good quality and useful on a WDW trip?

For a kid, I think it is decent. Adding Disney characters and frames around the pics is a cute feature. It was 79.99 at Best Buy. It will hold up to a 2 GB SD card. I just ordered a 1 GB SD from newegg for them both. I think that will give them plenty of space to play around with it. They can also use the SD card in the Disney Mix Max media player.

I just went to Best Buy today - I got the mid size one (think it is the micro - I already have the camera in "hiding" till Christmas) - I had to ask for them. One salesperson didn't know what I was talking about, another one did - They were located in their "surplus" area - Which at this store was by the microwaves! I would have never have found them had I not asked. I think this one is a perfect "start" camera for my DD - BTW, it is the Tinkerbell one -

If you got the mid level camera that is the Pix Click, the micro is tiny with no flash. They are hitting the shelves pretty hard now. I've seen them at several stores and I've seen just about all the "themes" for the micro and click. If your having trouble keep looking they will show up.

I'm pretty sure the max only comes in silver right now. The click and micro have different themes available.

I assumed they released the 3 colors at once, I was going to just hold on to the silver and try to find the pink. No use in that if they haven't released the others I guess.

I was gonna do the same thing. Hold onto the two silver ones I got and if I saw the other colors exchange them.
