Hello all!! An extremely close friend of mine recommended that I join all of you. This was done, of course, because me and mine are planning a trip to WDW. I am not as fanatical about Walt's vision as most of you. We went to WDW in 95. It was my first time as well as the first time for our two kids. It was Ann's second time. Her first time was in the seventies with her Mom. In 95, we stayed in the Wilderness Lodge. I was impressed with the service that we received at WDW. I also enjoyed the parks. What I always tell people when I discuss Disney is that their rides are not the best rides. But they sure do dress them up real nice. The detail is awsome. My particular favorites were not the rides. I thought their 3D movies were awsome. And Alien Encounter was an absolute, totally awsome mind game. This current trip will be from 12-30-02 until 1-4-02. We plan on going to Universal also. (sorry, I hope I'm allowed to say that here). I grew up reading Comic Books. I would still read them today if they published any good ones. so of course I am drooling about spending time on Marvel Island. But I digress. We are planning on staying at Carribean Resort. I thought I would be able to get the Government Employee discount at the Swan, but that apparently doesn't apply to Municipal Law Enforcement Officers. I must say I get a real kick out of shopping for the deals. And I am looking forward to talking to you all. And thanks Dorothy. That's the Philly Dorothy not the Kansas one. P.S. The wonderful thing about TIGGERS is that TIGGERS is wonderful things!! (hope I got that right)

Welcome to the DIS! I'm so glad you decided to join us. You don't have to be a Disney fanatic to have fun on the Community Board, we talk about all sorts of things here, including Universal. My personal favorite park is Islands of Adventure, I just love Spiderman
