New discount, new options...

Just thought I'd toss this out there and see if anyone has any thoughts..I have a reservation for POR for a preferred room in April. The discount does not include preferred rooms. Wondering if I should go for Yacht Club with the 30% discount. If my math is right it's approx $500 more to stay at YC with the discount. We've never stayed at YC, would like to try it, but $500 is still a lot of money.

One other question... does anyone know if there's a chance the preferred rooms will open up for the discount?

YC is going to be going under a hard goods refurbishment while you're there. Just letting you know, in case that sways your decision.
