New Dining Plan option.........Is it really worth it??

Ok, here's the thing.............My sister (25) and I (28) will be going to WDW and staying at Pop Centry for 8 nights in Dec. We are only going to the parks for 5 days.

We are having trouble deciding if this option is worth adding onto our package. Would this plan be good for us or is it more for families of 4 or more people.

Any input would help us out in our decisions

If you want the dining package you have to have it for the full length of your stay. You'd be better off paying cash. We had the dining package and I really liked the fact that it was prepaid and it included my tax and tip! I would definitely recommend it.

We know that we will have the package for the full 8 nights. On the days that we are not at the parks, we plan on touring the hotels and spending time at Downtown Disney.

In your case, I wouldn't - having to eat at Disney will be restricting to you. There are lots of great things to do in Orlando away from DTD and the hotels, like outlet shopping, other parks, beach, etc- I wouldn't want to feel constricted to stay on Disney property because of the package. If you really plan to stay on Disney property the whole time, it might be worth it - just look at the menus at www.allearsnet.com and decide if you can eat (including tax and tip, all snacks, etc) for $35 or under. I know for DH and I, we can't - and hte package would be a good deal for us. But everyone eats differently =)
