New dinasour restaurant

Does anyone know when the new dinasour restaurant will open in downtown disney? We are going Sept 12-20 and would love to take ds there. thanks

Sorry to say, it's not scheduled to open until the second week of November.
I guess you'll just have to come back again!!

I've heard it's opening in the late fall. It's a chain, just like the Rainforest Cafe restaurants, and as such they have their own website. Unfortunately because I'm not at my 10 posts yet I can't pot the link for you but it's called the TRexCafe and it's a .com so that should help ya find it.

It's going to be located in DtD but specifically where I'm not sure of. I'm sure someone else knows.

The menu looks good if it's going to be the same as what's on the site. We're planning to hit this in January because my son is moving into "dinosaur" mode.

I think the food tastes better than Rainforest. They have an awesome sampler platter with coconut chicken tenders, chips with cheese did, mozzarella sticks, and onion straws....I think that's it. We usually go and just split that. They also have a terrific dessert that will feed 4+ brownie with ice cream....very rich! Prices are the same as Rainforest...a little expensive, but the atmosphere is amazing! Too bad we won't be able to see the T-Rex in DTD, but we live 5 minutes away from the one in KC.

I would assume not, just like the Rainforest cafe they are owned by Landrys.

It is likely that it will not accept the dining plan, as the Rainforest Cafes do not and this restaurant is from the same company.
