New DFTW website!

They had us do an entire testimonial with questions for the web update including signing over rights with some photos, but I don't see anything from it on the site.

Its funny. The photos at the Grand Californian were styled by the person who is doing the floral and decor for our commitment ceremony.

Speaking of commitment ceremonies, there's no mention of them! None at all. Not even in the FAQ!

My first thought was "Well, there's not mention of vow renewals either, so they're probably just treating them all the same on the website, the same way that Disney actually does treat them all the same."

Which is great, but in that case, why can't they throw up a pic of two grooms or two brides. No offense to all of you lovely DISbrides, but with no mention of gay folks and ALL the pictures being "bride/groom" it doesn't look at all inclusive. And while I love looking at all the happy wedding photos, It peeves me that there's no representation of hapy couples like Scott and me. Or of couples like Sunny and Angela. I KNOW that they've done same sex photo shoots for promotion purposes, I've seen some of the pictures. Why aren't they shown?

How are gay couples who are looking on line to see if they can do a DFTW even supposed to know that it's possible?

I don't love that the new design studio makes you select food and beverage, plus I only said I had 11 guests and they told me to cut guests to have an escape wedding?? Am I doing something wrong?

No. Unfortunately I guess that's just a kink they need to work out! When I was playing with it, I noticed that too. I didn't want to factor in a reception but it made me!!

You aren't doing anything wrong! I think it's easier coming up with a spreadsheet and adding everything up personally!

Well I'm all done that so I guess I'm planned, too bad I can't book until December!! I liked building and saving dream weddings in the Wishbook though...
