Would love it if the resorts would start doing the same as BB. Allow visitors to reuse the same mug with purchasing a discounted refill option for the new stay. This would save alot of Disney mugs ending up in landfills. I still have the 4 I purchased in 2007 and 2009...do I really need a 2010 or 2011 as well? Being able to pay for a label that I can put on my mug for say $6-$8 rather than the $13.99 for a whole new mug times the 4 of us seems more enviormenatally friendly. JMTC
Is the microchip a Pentium or AMD? How many megapixels is the camera? Can we get the pictures through Photo Pass? Should I be concerned if I carry the mug into a restroom, locker room, dressing room, etc.?
Thanks for the update. Does anyone remember the distant past when the designs were updated each year and they allowed you to reuse the mugs from year to year?
No they can't tell and they certainly don't care either. There are some people that act like they are the 'mug police' and it somehow 'ruins' their vacation to see people using older mugs.
We have a large collection of the mugs and I'm looking at being the proud owner of another 18 after this trip since we are resort switching multiple times. I'd rather get a credit on my dining plan for the cost of the mug than have to fill up a suitcase with all those mugs!
My last trip I started in Saratoga and moved over to Bay Lake. I was told that my length of stay mug, meant length of stay for my trip. I think it was the CM when I checked in to BLT. I was told that it didn't matter that I changed hotels.

it doesn't normally matter but we are on the QSDP so each time we move, the DP starts over. With new mugs and all. DH is going to see if there is anything management can do to help us out so we don't feel the need to get new mugs but also don't end up 'wasting' $155+ worth of credits ($12.99 * 12). I doubt there is but it can't hurt to ask.
