New deal from disney

I got an email from disney about a new offer. The offer is like this. Kids stay, play, and eat for free on a 5 night 6 day package. And the price per adult is $794 US, at a value resort. This offer is good from Mar. 1/09----Apr 16/09.
That is not a bad deal for room park tickets and dining plan, but i won't be able to go. Does anyone think they will have some good deals for this july?? I know they don't usually during the summer months but with the state of the economy I thought this might be the year.

They never have anything for July. The parks are packed to the rafters at that time. We were there this past July and never again. Even though we are used to going at peak times it was way beyond what we were expecting. We stayed at POP and it was sold out.

It might be OK if you are going at the very end of July into the begining of August as it goes from summer season to value season.

We were also there this past july. It was our first ever time being there. We didn't find it to be more crowded then we expected it to be.
I just thought with the state of the economy especially in the USA that there might be a chance that theremay be a deal this coming summer to lure people to disney.

We will have to wait and see.

The stay for 4 get 3 free has been extended till the end of March...can't recall off the top of my head the dates tho?

I also got the kids stay/play/dine code yesterday in my email.. but I can't use it! I'm not planning on going in March/April ... I need a code good for November!

Go at another time of year and then you will see the difference in the crowd level.

As far as the US economy goes....sure there will be people that will cancel their summer holidays but WDW is far from cheap so you have to have a few bucks to do it in the first place.

You can look on mousesavers to see the historical offers and there have been very, very few in the past. The best deals usually tend to fall in value season with regular season not far behind. There tends to be little to nothing for peak and summer season. Holiday season doesn't even get the AAA discount, it gets nothing.

The kids stay/play/eat free deal is a pin code some people have received by email. Unfortunately a pin code can only be used by the person who it was sent to.

That is the magical question No one knows for sure how to get on the list for PIN offers. The best thing to do is sign yourself up for everything Disney related that you can find online. Also, order the planning DVD.

For me, I received my first PIN last October. It was addressed to me by my full name which is the name I used on disneyworld.com. That is the only place I had used my name like that. Sometimes the offers come out regionally but really and truely there doesn't seem to be any method as to who is selected.

This is a pretty good deal isn't it? This is the first PIN code I have ever received - can you book online or do you have to call in? Also, do they let you upgrade to 7 nights or does it have to be the EXACT deal offered?
