New DCL Offer for DVC- Fantasy

Just received an email from DVC with another new DCL offer on the Fantasy!!! Hope they keep these coming in the future!

This one is for select 7-night cruises from late October to early December on the Fantasy. This offer is similar to the previous two offers and is for balcony rooms. Total is $945- which sounds like a good deal.

I wish I was able to go, but wanted to share this here in case someone didn't receive the email.

It's a great deal for someone who can drop everything and disappear for a week on a cruise on such short notice (and pay in full upon booking)! Obviously there's some empty verandah cabins on the fall cruises...interesting.

Takes a bit more planning and prep than a couple weeks (or less..the first cruise offered leaves in just five days!) for us to be able to be away for a week...plus as amazing as it would be to be able to suddenly be going on a cruise in a couple weeks, I'd miss all the fun of the anticipation and build up.

Hope some DVC'ers who are more footloose and fancy-free than we are can take advantage of this great offer for a verandah cabin. Meanwhile, we'll continue basking in the before-glow of our February Fantasy "complete the fleet" cruise!

It's a GREAT price! It is about $600/per person off what my daughters are paying for an INSIDE cabin in June. Admittedly we're going during a higher season, but still a very good deal.

I just got this email too. Would be nice, but yeah the short notice & lack of funds ATM kind of prevent taking advantage.

Nice to see they are offering DVC members cash discounts though!

Ugh! We have the 12/15 cruise booked with points and cash. We could easily move our cruise to any of these dates but I think I would lose all of my points.
I can't call til my DH gets home to see what would happen if we do move it. Does anyone know if you can switch cruises?

You are also within the 75 day booking period. Not sure if you can do anything, but fingers crossed that you can.

To provide reference, using this discount for the Fantasy cruise leaving November 24th for 2 adults and one child age 13, this represents an approximately $2000 discount from the current retail price. If I wasn't starting a new job, I would be jumping on this opportunity

Did anyone find out if there is a discount for other room categories? I know this sounds odd, but i really dont want a balcony and was interested in dec 1. I would br willing to pay the same price for oceanview or inside.

This was a nice surprise. Our DU agent contacted us, and was able to secure the better rate for our paid in full cruise!!!

Argh, I need to call member admin today to find out why we're not getting these emails (we didn't get either cruise email or the one about ADB trips).

Yes, they have our email address because I get banking reminders, reservation updates, etc. Also DCL has our email as we have sailed several times and received an email from them just last week about our cruise in March.

Not that I can take advantage of this deal, but it would be nice to get the email.

Frustrating!!

A great deal. If we did not have trips booked for WDW in December and January, we would take advantage. No "young kids" or school schedule to worry about. DVC/DCL keep them coming.
