When I first join this FB group it was set as a private group, but it has now been changed to a public group meaning all posts are public. Not great security-wise when people are posting with their real identities and giving dates of when they will be out of town on a cruise; one of the many reasons we do not make any public FB posts.

Does anyone know if there are any plans to take the group private again ?

I already sent a private FB message to the main admin of the group and got no response.

The group is a Disboard/Dreams Unlimited group so I am hoping maybe one of the admins or someone else who knows would see this and answer here.

When I clicked on the link, it shows that group is sponsored by Dreams Unlimited, no mention of DISboards.

Hey Everyone! Just a quick heads up - we’ve been playing around with group settings to see what gives us the most options and best opportunity to interact as a community. That being said, we recently made the group “public” on Facebook and cannot return it to a private status for a few weeks.
In order to protect everyone’s privacy, we wanted to make you aware or this change and ask that you don’t share any detailed specifics regarding personal travel dates during this time. Thanks again for being a part of our DCL Fan Family!

And what about all the detailed specifics that have already been posted? Are they going to disappear?

If you are active on Facebook, you have already kissed your privacy a long goodbye. Flipping a switch between public and private is only meant to restrict those who don't know their way around it.
