Hello all,
I need some advice. I am a Dis World nut and so is my dis wife. We took my dis daughter age 2 to disworld this summer and had a fantastic time!!!!! We stayed at wilderness lodge. I am going to be a proud father again in August !!!!! I have the urge to book a December trip to WDW ,am I crazy?
Have any of you took a four month old to WDW? I would only stay on site if I am to do this. ( actually, I would only stay on site anyway)Please give me advice or how can I surpress my WDW addiction? Help!!!!!!!! :confused3
Thanks ,
George

What does dis wife think? It could be fine if you guys are willing to cater to the baby's schedule (or lack there of). If everyone is super flexible, definitely doable. You may also want to wait until spring when all the sights and sounds will interest newbaby and there is more of a schedule to work around.

We went to disney for 11 days, rented a house off site, when my older daughter turned two and my younger one was 5 months old. No problems, very portable ( I was nursing so no hassling with bottles) and lots of fun! We went in January so we didn't have to worry so much about the baby getting too hot or sunburned. I say definitely go if your wife wants to-good way to walk off the baby weight.

I say go and have a great time. I would bring your own stroller. Send your baby supplies to your hotel room via UPS or use one of the shopping services. That way you don't have to lug diapers, wipes, formula. December weather will be cool and lines will be short if you go in the beginning of the month. You won't be able to do any commando type touring but you will have plenty to see and do with a baby. The baby care centers at the parks are great for warming bottles, and changes. You sound like a very thoughtful husband and father. You and your growing family will have a blast. :cheer2:

I would also say go and enjoy yourselves. Babies at that age are so portable, they just feed and sleep. My ds was 4 months the first time he flew and he was no bother!

I would take a sling and your stroller and have a great time.

Thank you for the advice!!!!!!!I greatly appreciate all the insight. Does anyone have any information or opinions on what resorts have advantages for the little ones? Thank you all for your help !!!!!!
Hope to hear from you ,
George

Peace , love and Disney!! :earsboy:

Awwww! I think that's a lovely idea and you should go for it!! My baby will be 15 months old when we got to WDW but in many ways it's actually easier with a 4 month old. Definitely bring the baby sling, as was suggested.

When the new baby comes along you could tell your older daughter that the trip is a "gift" from her baby brother/sister. That way it bonds the family and prevents the older one from pinching the younger one when you're not looking :) . Who's gonna pinch anyone holding the key to a Disney holiday!!!
