Hello, I went to Disneyland for a few hours this afternoon.

I went to the hat shop on Main Street and noticed they have cute iron-on patches for $2.95/EA. You can purchase the patches by itself or you can add it on to a customized Mickey ears hat. Here are some pics I took:

They have various Mickey hats and ears that you can choose from. I couldn't take pics because my camera battery died. :( They had pink fluffy ears and they also had a small gold bought some patches to iron-on to a tote bag or messenger bag. They would also be great for jeans or a shirt/jacket. Just wanted to share. :wizard:

They've had this for quite a while, but alllll the way back in toontown! I'm glad they're putting it out on main street where it's more visible.

I actually asked about these several months ago! Glad to see we don't have to trek back to Toon Town for them, loved the pics too! Thanks!

cant wait to get some customized ears! I'm glad they have it on main street! I never noticed it in toon town!

What a great idea! We are TOTALLY doing that next time!!

And I do like the idea of buying the patches for other things - bags, jackets, etc. One could Disney-fy countless items! :thumbsup2

How cool is that! I bet the kids will love to make their own ears this trip!!! Thanks for sharing. :)

Does anyone know the approximate cost for the actual base/ears? Does the price vary depending on the style?

How expensive are these? Do you remember? I know you said that patches were $2.95, but how about the hats? And the ears?

We did it when we were tehre at the end of April. The price varies depending on what base and ears you choose but with one patch it works out to about the same price as regular ears. I think ours was about $14.00. Just remember to check the size of your base - our 5 year out ened up with an adult base, but she loves them anyways!

Oh my gosh! they are the coolest things ever! I never was into the plain ones where you write your name, but those!

Thank you so much for sharing!

You can also get custom embroidery on these hats as well. I know when we went on NYE you coould get all sorts of stuff on the hats including special holiday dates, celebrations, and more!

I made a special white, with velvety ears Jack hat :) it was approx the same price as a basic hat.

Yes, I purchased one for DD last year in Toontown. We went all the way there just for the custom hat. We used the Purple hat pictured above and princess patch. But some of those pics of hats (pink fuzzy) and patches are definitely new.HOw cool! Will have to stop there this time! Thanks OP for beings so thoughtful and sharing with us!:yay:

I know! I used to trek back to Toontown to just play with the ears! I never got a pair though, I ended up with the Black Minnie Mouse bow ears.
Unless you're celebrating something or if you're a young child, the ears don't really appeal...

Hi, I don't remember the cost for the ears. I don't think I saw the sign. There were a lot of people crowded around there. I don't think it's too expensive but I'll try to find out the cost. :)

I think the ears are fun for all ages. :) I even like the small tiaras that you can get in the Princess shops. Those are fun too! :cutie:

Don't be silly, I have them too! BUt I mean if you don't like princess appliques or celebration ones, you're better off with the buy off the shelf ears. (They're much more cost friendly ;) )

I think the base for the ears was 12 and the ears were about 2.95 or 4.95 each.
